We stayed for 3 nights in the 4-bed private room,It is a small room with a window and airco, and a glass wall witch connects to the lounge in the loft (the light and noise can disturb !) The beds are comfortable and clean, each bed has a light and a electrical socket. Each person has a little locker witch...

we spend 5 nights here in a small room shared with 8 people and no window! The air was extremely bad. However, the hostel itself was very clean and cozy. A big plus was definitly the toasts with butter and jam included in the price. The bathrooms were cleaned several times a day. We liked the attic room very much....

Stayed there for 4 days with my wife and in-laws and loved the place. Situated right in the heart of Chinatown with plenty of food options (3-4 food centres within walking distance) and yet was very quiet, being one street away from the bustle of Pagoda Street. While the 4-person mix dorm was a little small, it was cozy and...

The hostel was affordable and it was accessible via MRT and bus. We only rode a taxi on our way back to the airport (because of our heavy luggage filled with shopping finds). Though having common restrooms, those were clean. There's also complimentary breakfast which we enjoyed everyday before going out. The beds are comfortable also.

This place is fantastic!! The bed is so comfortable, I almost didn't want to get out of bed to explore Singapore. A locker is provided and you can rent a lock for a good price ( can't remember). It's very clean and the aircon is a life saver in Singapore's hot weather. The attic is amazing with a massage chair...

I stayed with two of my friends in the 4-bed mixed dorm room for 3 nights. Let me start with the bed.. haha! We loved it! The sheets were sooooo soft! Even if it was so cold because of the AC, you won't feel cold because of the warm and fluffy comforter! We actually googled for the comforter online to...

This place is in Chinatown..not a problem except for the garbage trucks and cars that roll by all night. The staff is decent..nuff said. Value..cheap as dirt. Overall amenities .. Meh okay if your like 18. Noise isn't so much a problem. But let's talk about the armpit, but, smelly sock wreaking room. Don't even try sleeping.. try breathing. I've...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
