Detailed Reviews
There were chaos during check-in. Many people waiting but no staff at the front desk. Saying 3pm ready to check-in but the staff only said the rooms were still housekeeping while it was already 3:30pm. I got the room fast. Probably due to no one stayed in my room in previous day. The room is super small and even difficult to open a suitcase, though the bed size is fine.
When I took shower I realized that there was no shower gel, and no refill even the next day. Besides, it's quite noisy when they walked along aisles for housekeeping. Besides, they suddenly open my door to tidy up my room while I was still sleeping at around 10am. Luckily that I've locked the door so they couldn't get in. The toilet and shower room are in the same small area so if people take shower the toilet will be very wet. The carpet was missing on my first day's stay as well but they put it back to my room on the 2nd day's stay.
Location is not bad as it's still in city center. Will not consider again unless no other options nearby.

Dear Keith W, We appreciate your time for sharing your stay experience. As our hotel was running on high occupancy, our Housekeeping staff need time to clean the rooms before them over to the next guests. The housekeeping lapse is not reflective of our usual hotel standards and we apologise for the shortcomings. Warm Regards, Stanley Guest Relations Executive

The location is great, there are many tourist spots within walking distance, and there is a 7-Eleven right next door, so I don't mind that there is no refrigerator. However, it is not open 24 hours.
The front desk staff are not bad either. They are very cheerful.
However, the room has no windows, and the walls and floors are made of concrete, so it feels like a prison cell. And the shower room, which is something that Japanese people are not used to, where you wash the toilet when you use the shower, was a pain.
Still, it was a very good experience, but all this for about 13,000 yen. Singapore's prices are scary! I would stay again if it was under 10,000 yen.

Pretty cheap hotel for Singapore. Our triple room was small in size, with simple furnishings and clean. At the reception they are very kind and helpful. I cut myself by hitting my eyebrow on the edge of the desk and the boy at the reception, despite being inclined to faint from the sight of blood, gave us some medications. Ps: there are no pharmacies nearby. Apart from this mishap, this hotel is minimal, the price is good and above all it has a metro station nearby and you can reach Marina Bay with a 20 m walk. There is no breakfast service but there is a local shop that sells a bit of everything. For those not looking for luxury, I highly recommend it

We had a room for 3 on the first floor. It was a little cramped but fine, considering the price we paid. The staff were excellent. They couldn't have been more helpful. They made phone enquiries for us, booked taxis, looked up timetables and even escorted us to the nearest stop to meet the hop-on/off bus. The complimentary breakfast was better than we expected, and the coffee tasted better than the tea. The hotel had a great swimming pool on the roof and we were even invited to use it before we left for the airport, using their towels.

This budget hotel was exactly what I needed for a quick one night stopover. Reception was available late at night, the room was very basic but clean, and amenities were everything I needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful, they are happy to hold bags, good location: taxis took 30 seconds to call, restaurants and cafes all around, and short distances to Orchard Rd and the Marina.

The room is clean. As you would expect with an Ibis hotel, the cleaning ensures you feel like you feel you could sleep in one night there. There's suitcase stand one can place their suitcase. They held my suitcase until I came back and picked it up in the afternoon.
However, the bed was very uncomfortable - a poor quality mattress on a slab of wood. The room was windowless. There was no soap provided, not even a wrapped product one could move to the sink, and the bodywash dispenser was away from the sink.
It was $170SGD a night which is far too much for the experience.
The first staff members I dealt with were rude and argumentative. I had booked through Accor's website and they claimed they hadn't got payment. I said i'd made it already, will you refund a double payment if that occurs and they would not say yes. Red flag.
The one I dealt with in the afternoon was polite and friendly. So perhaps just the night staff are poor?

We visited here on a long layover, so we needed just a one night stay with just the basics at a good price, and Ibis Budget was just the thing. Easy check in, able to store luggage whine we toured the city ahead of the room being ready (safe and no cost). Easiest underground station is Little India which is a short and east 3 min walk away. Note: construction along this route in Nov 2023 but this is easily navigated as the pedestrian access is well set out and protected.
Air con in the room worked fantastically! The staff were enthusiastic, competent and very helpful at every interaction and could not have been better. On a service level it felt like a 5-star hotel.
Would not think twice about re-booking here next time. The constant 100% occupancy rate tells you that management really have hit the sweet spot here.

I often stay in Ibis Budget hotels but I was disappointed with this one. The double bed was clean and comfortable but I can't imagine how two people with their luggage could fit into this very small windowless room. The minuscule ensuite features a shower over the toilet - however you are provided with a squeegee to help dry the floor. The towels were very thin but were replaced daily on request.

Dear Margaret, We are surprised to learn of your feedback as the size and descriptions of our rooms are clearly indicated on our booking platforms. As one of the most densely populated cities in the world, land is scarce here and hence, most budget accommodation properties do not offer large rooms. Toilet and bathroom that comes in a combined set up is common for a budget tier hotel. Nonetheless, our bathrooms are well equipped with all the necessary facilities and amenities. Please also consider our Superior and Deluxe rooms if you prefer having a window. We look forward to be of service to you again. Warm Regards, Roland Guest Experience Executive

I stayed at Ibis Budget Bugis for 13 nights this January. It was a work trip and choices within the set budget were limited, so I thought you can't really go wrong with booking an Ibis. So it was - it was a perfectly pleasant stay. I had a standard room with a double bed, and what they don't tell you explicitly on the website is that those rooms don't have a window. I suspected that though, so was not too disappointed, but it takes a while to get used to the conditioned air that seems to permanently be so humid that a pair of socks takes 3 days to dry if you wash them in the sink.
That's the only grain of salt, really. That and the fact that either the walls are thin, or the other guests just happened to be sleepless and extremely noisy, so there was some audible talking all night long most nights. Could have not wished for a better location with a shopping mall, restaurants, cafes, hawker center and MRT and bus connections right across the road. There's a 7eleven right next door, too, and an excellent gelato place on the corner. My special thanks goes to the housekeeping team who changed the towels every day and kept the room spotlessly clean.
All in all, it was a pleasant stay and even if the room was a bit small for such a long stay, all that I needed was there. Would definitely go back and recommend, too, for travelers on a limited budget.

I booked 2 superior rooms with windows, but the room size in 1 of the room look smaller and the this smaller room does not have any fixture for hanging clothes, let alone having hangers in the room. So the provision in the room is not consistent even though I paid the same price for both rooms.
I have stayed in Ibis Budget Singapore (Clarke Quay) too which I feel is better than Ibis Budget (Bugis) when comes to room comfort and room ambience.

Dear Loh, Thank you for sharing your stay experience with the Hotel Team. You and your guest had made two separate reservations and you had requested for both rooms located on the same level upon your arrival at the property. As such, our Front Desk Staff had arranged two rooms beside each other on the second level for you and your guest's stay. Taking into consideration of the building's structure, it is a challenge to have the same architectural layout and size for all the rooms. Nevertheless, we had taken note of your comments and we will aim to provide similar room amenities for the same room category in the property. We value your feedback and we hope to welcome you through our doors again. Regards, Jack Chee Senior Customer Relations Manager
