Nice, but small-ish room in charming hotel. Comfy bed, modern bathroom. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Nice roof-top bar with view of the area. Highly recommended. They held our luggage gladly while we explored during the day. I'd stay there again.

We stayed for one night at the end of January before boarding our cruise ship the next day. The Club has a colonial feel with a modern twist. The room was very comfortable with a wonderful bed and pillows and very efficient air conditioning which was appreciated having arrived from UK in January! The location is amazing. We did a...

Lovely hotel and friendly staff. Location is great for exploring local bars. The restaurant "disgruntled brasserie" also worth a visit. Really enjoyed our stay and good value for money in an expensive city!

Location is fabulous, staff are so friendly and efficient, rooms are really well presented with all the modern conveniences (and best beds!). In fact, this hotel was a big part of why we loved our Singapore trip so much. We stayed 6 nights and loved being able to walk to Chinatown, enjoyed having a great choice of restaurants and bars...

The room is quite large compared to most of the hotels in Singapore. The staffs are so helpful that provide different kind of assistance according to our need. We have a early flight on next day and the club's staffs provided extra services to us , such as earlier breakfast service and calling taxi.

Located near Chinatown and two MRT (subway/underground/metro) stations so there is much to see nearby and it's easy to go elsewhere. Pleasant and well-equipped room and outstanding service from the friendly staff.

We had been in Singapore in October 2016 for 5 days and stayed in one of the "big" American Hotels in the business district. We were disappointed with the "soulless atmosphere of the hotel and the area. We were talked into going back with some friends for Chinese New Year. We stayed in Little China and chose "The Club Hotel"...

Amazing staff, great location, artful interiors, built in a heritage building fronted by good bars. Architectural and interior design of this hotel was an absolute treat. Unique aesthetics add depth and character to the hotel. Appreciate also the little things - art pieces in the hallways and room, selection of books and magazines in the room's desk, and the flexibility...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
