While opinions on Studio M Hotel's service are divided, with some guests commending the attentive staff and others pointing out lapses in responsiveness, the hotel's modern loft design and upbeat atmosphere are consistently admired. Its prime location garners appreciation for its convenience and scenic riverfront views.
Guests have called out the clean, well-appointed rooms and the inviting pool area as highlights. Although room experiences vary, with some concerns about noise and maintenance, many travelers regard the hotel as a good value, particularly with the special deals and promotions on offer.

It's amazing that a 4-star hotel has a nice swimming pool and a large poolside relaxation area.
Most of the rooms are designed as duplex apartments, with a high-ceiling living room, a bathroom and a toilet on the first floor, as well as the main bedroom on the second floor. The equipment is novel and the decoration is modern and fashionable. However, having to go up and down stairs frequently may not be suitable for the elderly.
The service was good (especially housekeeping). But when we checked in late at night on the 8th February, the front desk staff looked tired, spoke very little, gave unclear explanations, and was not helpful.

Studio "M" is in the heart of all the Fun places of Singapore, The staff are great and will do most anything to make Your stay a pleasant one, The rooms are adequate if You are an average size person and not 6'2'' as I am and My sons who were on this trip as well are 6'3'' and 6'4'' so maybe average size in OZ but things are smaller here. The amenities of the "M" are just fine and value for the money, the toilet in the vast majority of the rooms is tiny and You may bump your knees on the wall in front of You when You sit much like Jetstar seating. breakfast is also adequate for starting the day and is set in pleasant surroundings. You can do a weeks wash and dry for around $8 with tokens from the desk and a tip for finding a larger Loo is to use the Loos on the pool deck around back of the Gym. Singapore is Fun, but check prices on the net before You buy anything more than lunch!

Dear Rick, That was definitely such a heartfelt review to read. You sure have an eye for details and I thank you for appreciating what the hotel had to offer during your stay. With regard to your feedback about the difficulties faced in the restroom area, please take note that we have taken it into high consideration during our refurbishment phase which is set to begin in just a few months. I apologize for the inconvenience caused as well. The hotel will look far more greater and we will have lots more to offer as well! Looking forward to seeing you return with your loved ones soon. A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveller reviews.
Studio M is very centrally located near the Quay, nice restaurants and within half hour walking distance from most things.
The rooms are alright and has lots of space - a bit too much actually as a 2 story studio room with 2 large beds for a single person seems like a waste.
Staff was quite friendly and I liked the breakfast, pool area and the gym.
On the downside the floors and rooms seems to need some serious rennovation. The carpets in the hallways appeared very worn, stained and should be replaced. The room I was in seemed to have had a very cheap carpenter/painter do some of the work and though nothing was wrong or broke, it made the room seem dirty and worn. Would have liked room service to bring a beer in the evening, but apparently the bar and alcohol service closes in the evening. Perhaps that is just how it is in Singapore.
A fun little detail is they have an omelet robot for breakfast and a roaming robot that can bring water or amminities to your room late at night.
Not great and not terrible.

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for your review. Studio M Hotel is the only loft styled hotel in Singapore and our room categories and layout are well suited for majority of our guests. We are located right in the middle of the city, making everything convenient for our guests. Thank you for recognizing the efforts and service from my fellow colleagues. Please do take note that the hotel is in its final stages of finalizing the refurbishment plans and we are looking to start the works of it in just a few months. Please do revisit us to see the newer version of Studio M Hotel and I reassure you, you wont regret it! The Bar/Restaurant in the hotel closes at 1030pm and hence last orders are done at about 1015pm. For other parts of Singapore, each respective food outlets have their own entitlement to decide till what time alcohol is being sold based on their license. Aura is our Lobby mascot and Ausca is our chef up at Breeze that cooks amazing eggs for breakfast in the morning! We hope to see you again! Samantha Rajkumar Guest Relations Manager Studio M Hotel

Lovely studio apartment with a loft and large windows. I think people need to be realistic of the pricing and space in Singapore. It is small by hotel standards, but is great value when all you need is a place to lie down after a day of exploring and shower. The shower was a bit small but the shower head great, I was worried about the water leaking out on to the main room, but no issues.
Check in was smooth, didn't even need a security deposit, just signed it all electronically as we prepaid.
The composition of the lobby was odd, causing a couple of people to try cut in line when approaching the front desk, but staff was onto it and knew who was first. So that was very much appreciated.
Asked housekeeping for an extra pillow no issues there. Amenities were good, had water bottles, air conditioning was great.
Only thing I would say if I was being nitpicky was the walls are a bit thin, so you can hear kids running in the hallway and some conversations here and there, but nothing kept me up and I'm a VERY light sleeper. Didn't have time to use the pool but the hotel design was modern and stylish!
It was plenty of room for the 3 of us, husband, myself and 15 year old sister. Maybe even a third on the loft as she shared our bed, the sofa bed was a bit stiff for her. Maybe it's not enough space for families trying to smuggle their 6 kids in, or have toddlers running around, but that's not the purpose of these rooms.
Only other possible complaint, again being nitpicky, is the ventilation in the bathroom/toilet wasn't very strong.
Hotel was modern, clean, and great value. Would definitely stay there again.

It was a bit of a walk for me (who is extremely lazy) to the station about 7 - 10 minutes (along the river). It's not actually too far by Singapore standards, but keep that mind for people who don't walk often.

The location was great, about 30 mins from the airport for our overnight stop and a day in Singapore. The staff were pleasant at checkin and out and the reception area was lovely... Thre room itself though was poor. It was on two levels as we expected, but the status to the lift space 'bedroom' were very precarious especially in the night. The bedroom was literally a bed with just enough space to walk around at the bottom and only on one side. The bed smelt.
Downstairs was odd. Immediately on entry there was a door on either side. One for the toilet, which was barely big enough and the other for a shower room. The wooden door formed one of the walls... who thought it a good idea to have a wooden door in a shower room... the door had expanded so would no longer close. The basin was in the main living area, so teeth and face washing was done in the main room. The room itself was tired, small and grubby. Not recommended.

Dear CardiffMaddie, Greetings from Studio M Hotel! Thank you for taking time to write us a review. Studio M is located in the bustling entertainment precinct of Robertson Quay and just minutes away from Clarke Quay, the Central Business Dictrict (CBD) and renowned Orchard Road. I’m pleased to know that you enjoyed the location of our Hotel as well as the warm welcome displayed by our team members. It is most unfortunate to know that our room design was not to your preference. I hope that you will give Studio M another try during your next visit to Singapore. We are truly grateful for your honest feedback as it is essential in our efforts to further improve our service standards and guest experiences. Excellent location in the center of Singapore, adequate room rate, it is possible to accommodate a family of 4 people (although the room for 4 people is not enough). The presence of a pool that is open until 23 hours is very convenient. Breakfasts are not very diverse, but for 4-5 nights they do not bother.
It would be nice to speed up the check-out procedure, in our opinion it was unreasonably long

Stayed close to New Year so not too many other options available without paying a fortune, Studio M was definitely also overpriced at the time.
The rooms are not very inviting, the TV and bed being upstairs are a hassle and the shower and toilet are both essentially in cupboards, small cupboards at that. With a full length mirror facing you in the toilet. Standards of cleanliness were not high either and there was flooding in the hallway on my floor (soaking carpet to walk over).
Breakfast was average.
The wait at checkout was frustrating as there was only one person at the desk who was dealing with someone who took an extended amount of time. I left as I had to get into the office then had to arrange for the account to be emailed to me.
I would not recommend or return.

Dear Kathryn S, Greetings from Studio M Hotel! Thank you for taking time to write us a review. Studio M Hotel takes pride in being Singapore’s first fully-loft designed hotel and we believe that this unique feature sets us apart from other hotels. Every loft room comes with a three-metre high ceiling and full-length bay window which allows maximum natural light to further enhance our features. I hope that you will be able to enjoy our rooms during your next stay with us. It is most unfortunate to know that our standard fell short of your expectations during your stay and please accept my sincere apologies. I have highlighted the flooding issue to my Operations team and please allow me to look into the issue. We seek your kind understanding on high volume of guests departure during check-out time which may cause a longer waiting time. We do, however, provide Express Check Out box for guests to drop-off their keycards for a speedy check-out process. Thank you once again and I hope to welcome you back to Studio M Hotel in the near future. Have a lofty day, Pjey Mayandi General Manager

The extra space given for the working area as well as the sleeping place was very well thought out. The high bay windows also made the room much bigger in terms of perception.
However this was compromised by the smaller toilet and shower facility.
Access card also did not work well in one of the lifts.
There was a robot that also was used to cook the omelette for the morning breakfast. While it was fun to watch it do the cooking automatically, the end result of the food was not evenly cooked well.
The second floor of the hotel where the pool was located also had lots of space to chill-out.
Overall good experience.

Had a staycation to celebrate a friend's birthday. I went down earlier at around 12pm to plan a surprise with the staff for the birthday boy. Initially, I mistook the guest relations manager, namely Ms. Samantha Rajasri Rajakumar, as a concierge. After the mistaken identity, she did not even showed any anger and assisted me with all the information that I needed. Her professionalism followed through as she planned in detail with me on how I could give my friend a surprise. She suggested a slice of cake and sparkling juice to be sent to the room at a certain time before it hits 12 midnight. And yes, she also added that a happy birthday message will be sent along with it. Not stopping there, she informed me that I could check in earlier as the room she upgraded us to was already available. It was a blessing to have cross path with her during her shift as she gave us the best room with the most perfect view. In addition to that, she also gave us a late check out complimentary. It has been a long time since I had a relaxed day. Ms. Samantha have done the best on her part to make it a memorable one for me. Thank you so much and i would definitely recommend my friends and families to have a staycation at Studio M.
