The hotel's location is convenient, being close to both the yellow and blue MTR lines, as well as within walking distance to various hawker and food centres. The staff are welcoming and always greet guests with a smile. Special thanks to Amira, Nikita, the gentleman with the wrist wrap, and the doormen.
I enjoyed my stay so much that I canceled my Chinatown accommodation and returned to Hotel Mi for all the above reasons.
On both occasions, I requested a late checkout and they were happy to accommodate me, and on my return trip, they allowed me to check in early without any hassle.
As a crutches user, I found the hotel's location and facilities to be satisfactory. The MTR is easily accessible with lifts, area is flat and taxi and Grab stands are conveniently located outside the hotel. Additionally, the disability rooms are well-equipped with shower seats and handrails in the bathroom.
Finally, the hotel has filtered taps in all rooms to promote the reduction of single use plastic bottles. So pack a reusable drink bottle and support this initiative.
Highly recommend and will be back.

My son and I stayed at Hotel Mi Bencoolen for a short trip, and despite being one of the more affordable options, the service was truly 5-star! Checking in was a breeze, and we were even accommodated with an early check-in, which was much appreciated. The rooms are compact, with just enough space to open one suitcase at a time, but the potable water dispenser in the room was a great touch, allowing us to fill up our water bottles whenever we headed out.
The check-out process was quick and efficient. Firdans (I believe that was his name) at the front desk kindly offered to store our baggage and even provided a room for us to freshen up before our evening flight. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with a taxi pick-up stand and the MRT station just a few steps away.
All the staff were fantastic. The housekeeper recommended cheaper dining options, and the two doormen were very helpful with suggestions and directions. The hotel is within walking distance of many eating places, making it easy to explore the local cuisine.

Our family stayed at Mi Bencoolen on three occasions over a period of 2-3 weeks. On arrival we were immediately offered an upgrade to a slightly larger room overlooking the street and with very distant views of shipping, Raffles, etc. The rooms are inescapably small, but this is to be expected in Singapore. In this small area they pack a compact but good shower room, a fridge, tea and coffee making and some hangers for clothing. Smart TV. Rooms are cleaned every day and everything is immaculate. On occasion a bit noisy, but we forgive in light of everything else. Pool. The hotel has a perfect location, with the National Museum, Raffles, Orchard Rd, Clarke Quay all in walking distance. Bencoolen MRT for the excellent Downtown line is seconds away and two other stations very close. We didn’t take breakfast but daylight coffee next door does great coffees and croissants. Other choices close by. The best thing about the hotel is the endlessly helpful staff, night and day, who were so friendly and positive. Hiew and Ashkey were amongst these, but everyone was great.

The only reason my husband booked this hotel is because he randomly read a random stranger’s review that the staff allowed him to freshen up after they checked out. My husband was hopeful that they were gonna offer us the same because we were going to Universal on our last day. The day of our check out we told the staff we are leaving our luggage and will pick them up after our tour, the staff David Yeo was kind enough to offer us a room where we can freshen up after we get back from our tour. The room is a bit small and can hear the sound from the next room but that didn’t bother us. The convenience of freshening up makes up for it (the warmth and our sweat from universal is so disgusting, quick shower really makes a difference) They even allowed us for an early check in.

This is the kind of hotel you stay at if you just need a comfortable and clean place to stay while you explore the city. The rooms are tiny but efficient, beds aren't huge but comfortable and it's clean. It's nice to have a filtered tap in the bathroom so you don't need to get new bottles of water all the time.
The location is quite ideal really, it's off a major street so easy to get a Grab as well as quick and easy subway access. Also plenty of food and drink options around.
The pool is actually surprisingly calm and nice for being in such a busy hotel.

We stayed at Hotel Mi Bencoolen for 4 nights this past week and although the service was friendly, I can't recommend to stay here after our personal experience. We arrived from a 13 hour flight from the U.K to a very compact room that does not reflect the size in the photos online, barely enough room to store 2 large suitcases. The walls were paper thin and we could hear everything the Chinese family next door were discussing throughout the early morning and into the middle of the night keeping us awake, thankfully we had earplugs otherwise we would have not been able to sleep at all. I complained the following day and they moved us to a new room on the top floor with nobody beside us which helped, but I did not appreciate the staff member initially making a comment that I did not mention the noise on the first night when we were clearly exhausted from travelling and needed to sleep, changing rooms was not top of our list of things to do after arriving to the hotel at 6pm and having to also get food. The location is good, about 20 minutes to Suntec City and about 40 minutes to Marina Bay Sands which is a scenic walk. The pool is a good size and looked clean but doesn't get any sunlight and the gym is small with only a couple of cross trainers and treadmills. The hotel seems to have a lot less western tourists which may not bother you but might be something to consider. We noticed people who stay here seem to come back very late which creates a lot of noise when trying to sleep. In summary, we think Singapore is a city where "budget" accommodation is a bit of a minefield and we came to the realisation that it's worth paying a bit extra and getting somewhere nice to avoid being highly disappointed.

The hotel is very centrally located, many sights can be reached on foot, others can be reached by metro, the stop is just a few meters from the hotel. Staff friendly, everything very clean. The rooms are incredibly tiny (but it says so in the hotel description), as is the bathroom (shower ok, only the shower was hung way too low), storage space is practically non-existent, very poor furniture. Refrigerator and coffee/tea preparation possible. The pool is located very carelessly in the middle of the high-rise buildings, but that's no different given the dense population. Only one socket on one of the beds, a second one at the desk. We were there for 6 nights and it was a bit difficult with 2 suitcases. Room service always came late in the afternoon, just when we came back and actually wanted to rest or take a fresh shower. Overall, you feel like you're in a better hostel, but we were more or less just there to sleep, so far everything was good, except for the pathetic breakfast. This was available in the tiny bar right next to the hotel. Only one toaster was available for all hotel guests. Apart from warm food, there was only toast bread, which was mostly still frozen because there wasn't enough added, so you had to rely on the toaster. Coffee and orange juice tasted more like brown and yellow water. We always took the Cafepads down from our room and then poured them on with warm water (the water was never hot). Crockery, cutlery and seats are relatively quickly in short supply. There are a few restaurants in the area and a small shopping center with Indian, Korean and Chinese takeaways, which was ok. This was our first time staying at Mi Bencoolen Hotel. We stayed in twin room. The room is not that big, but enough for 2 adult and 1 child. The room is come with filtered water that u can refill anytime in your room. I think this is the best part of the hotel. The hotel also have swimming pool and the launderete which i find important for long stay. The location is so close to bencoolen MRT and walking distance to Bras Basah MRT.

You could try directly phoning them or even better
Try look them up on Booking com or Agoda they are usually the best for direct email to the hotel, but I’m not sure if you haven’t booked through them ..

MRT gets you pretty close - you can change lines at Expo station to the Downtown (blue) line and ride about half an hour to Bencoolen station. Because Bencoolen is the deepest MRT station, I don't think anyone would be mad if you took the elevator to the ticketing concourse.
To get around, there's also Bras Basah MRT round the corner from Food Republic or you could take the bus at the bus stop outside Rendezvous Hotel. One of those buses would get you where you want to go.
I did my laundry at “Laundry Day” in Cuppage Plaza about 1km from hotel mi off Orchard Rd. Very reasonable prices. I paid $16 for 4kg washed and folded.
There are more places to choose from in the Singapore area.
