Me and my boyfriend stayed for 3 nights, the room was for non smokers but we could smell the smoke inside the room. Great location, 10 minutes walking from train station, bus stop in front of the Hotel. Great japanese restaurant on the second floor, nice pool.

Excellent place for leisure and business trip. very nice location, cozy, quite and spacious rooms. I stayed in the hotel with my family (spouse + 2 kids). we really enjoyed every bit of it and found it to be a true value for money. Highly recommend.

The Royal is not a bad hotel - it's potentially an excellent one. Despite criticisms, it remains my favourite. Reviewers have listed many faults, but one solution could rectify them all: stronger management. Obvious issues for attention include staff morale, staff training (no-one knows what's going on; a front desk clerk told me without shame that she did not know...

My stay here with my family was in connection with Singapore Stopover Holiday, organized by Singapore Airlines. Singapore Airlines organized the ground transportation. We were three members and our assigned room was fitted with three single beds. The room was spacious with comfortable beds and a work station, complimentary tea/coffee sachets and a teapot, and a mini bar. The bathroom...

We only stayed here because this hotel was arranged by Singapore Stop-over. The accommodation that we received was clean, A-OK... but the staff were a joke! There were no maps available for tourists and the staff were completely clueless. When I found a map of shopping centers since that was the only one available, the receptionist wasn't even able to...

Disappointed this hotel does not provide free Wifi even in the lobby area. ,Although there was sign that one can pay for Wifi in the laundry, I cannot find how I can any direction how one can buy that service.

Unbelievable thing happened on me... I booked the room from two different travel agent for two nights...when I check in the room, the staff asked me to come back to sign other document on the next day of arrival and mentioned that we do not need to change another room... whenever I reached the reception on the second day when...

We stayed overnight by arrangement with Singapore Stopover holiday. Hotel is very strategically located and staff are really helpful. Currency exchange rate was (In my opinion) better than Changi airport shopper rates. Facility was awesome. I strongly recommend it to others (yes a bit pricey but all hotels in Singapore are pricey). If you are not fuss then save lots...

Stayed at the Royal as part of our Singapore stopover deal. Convenient location with bus outside door & metro a couple of minutes walk away. Rooms good for the price with tea/coffee making plus even a microwave. Staff friendly & helpful.
