Great clean hostel with an excellent location. The MRT station is of walking distance. The Mustafa Centre is near. They also give free toast (with jam or peanut butter) and coffee for breakfast. What's best about this hostel is their friendly and helpful staff which happens to be a fellow Filipino! They are also helpful with planning your trip around...

Great little hostel, very clean and compact. Free breakfast and friendly staff. Loads of power points and super fast free WiFi. Would recommend if you are on a budget. Great location within walking distance of MRT.

This is my second time staying at fernloft hostel. It has proven that it is clean, cheaper and friendly. Ms Sen and her team are friendly and happy to attend our needs. I even chatted with other tenants and practice other foreign languages. The location is in the center of the china town, so many shops and cheap variety restaurants....

Do yourself a favour and don't stay here. Please. Massive bed bug infestation throughout the entire hotel. They confirmed they knew about it and still took our money. They then said we could get a refund the next day before we checked out. They then didn't turn up to work before we left in order to not pay us back...

If you're only here to sleep with a lot of activities during the day, then this is the place for you. Walls were pretty thin though and the bedsheet has seen better days. I like that it's in walking distance of City Square Mall, a convenience store, souvenirs at Little India, Farrer Park MRT station and my partner loved the...

We struggled to find 'budget' accommodation in Singapore for our backpacking trip around Asia. Fernloft fell just within our budget and with the price tag we were expecting something a bit more than basic. Unfortunately, having arrived in the evening after a long journey, the private double room (Winter) turned out to be very small, dark and dingy with a...

The rooms and bathrooms are always clean and tidy. Beds in the dormitorys are comfortable and everything you could need is provided by staff. The staff are excellent and...

I read through Tripadvisor's recommendations prior to booking a room and I was not disappointed. This hostel is ideally located (to Jalan Besar near Kitchener Road) to explore Singapore. The facilities are all clean and showers have a nice pressure. Especially the common area is quite nice to hang out. Breakfast is simple (coffee, teat, cereals, toast, jam, and peanut...
