I flew from Maldives to Kuala Lumpur, transit in Changi for 12 hours. I do not have any booking but intended to stay in this hotel. When I reached in the Reception I was treated poorly. The guy an old receptionist sort of. Greeted me and asked if I have booking. When I said that I do not have any booking the replied that I got is ‘then we are fully booked’ he was very rude. With this kind of attitude, you better not worked in hospitality bro! I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. First impression is everything, well I had a terrible experience. I worked abroad and in hospitality too and I know the drill. I had best experience in the Premium Lounge terminal 1.

We had 21 hours long transit in Changi airport. So we booked a room in Ambassador Terminal 3 hotel for 19 hours. The room comes with 3 meals per person per 6 hours. You have some limited options to choose from. The food was very average. Room had no window. But was spacious enough with a tv and a desk. The bathroom was good, shower pressure was very good. Overall we had a nice rest.

A comfortable stay for a 12 hours transit at terminal 3. Nap room with nice and clean showers and toilets equipped with hair dryer. We would like to particularly thanks Mr Terry for his help in putting us up at the Nap Room with walk-in request when everywhere else was fully booked. Mr Terry has been very helpful, patient and welcoming by providing us with info we needed and flexible with our requests. Food here is also delicious with friendly and good services. We will definitely stay again with a long transit at terminal 3. Though is not cheap but is certainly worthwhile to relax and have a good rest for the long journey ahead especially at this stressful pandemic time.

I paid 145 UK pounds for 12 hours so I was expecting a reasonable standard but was very disappointed with my ‘hotel room’. The room didn’t look anything like the room advertised on the website. It was very utilitarian and contained three single beds and a small table. After checking in I went straight to bed. It wasn’t until I woke up a few hours later that i discovered the room hadn’t been clean (except the bedding). I found used cotton buds, slippers and dirt across the carpet. I reported the matter to reception who assured me my room would be serviced during my short stay but unfortunately it wasn’t. Set yourself low expectations otherwise you will be sorely disappointed. Expect hard beds, low grade bedding/worn out towels and dirty carpets. Or may be my room was the exception?

I stayed here twice in August, once on either end of my trip. Both times I had a layover of 10 hours, so instead of waiting in SIN's cattle herding waiting area we chose to stay at the transit hotel. First, for what you get, this is expensive. They are obviously taking advantage of the fact that right now during Covid you cannot leave the airport if you are transiting. But is it worth it over being held in a cattle pen? To us it was. Second, our first stay was great. Staff was nice, everything taken care of rather quickly, we had no complaints. I'd give that stay 4.5-5 stars. Our second stay was not great. When we arrived the staff was trying to upsell selling extra hours to us, when the first time we stayed did not do that. The staff told us they would be forcing us out at 3am for a 830AM flight if we didn't purchase additional hours. Remember, this didn't happen the first time we stayed two weeks prior. Also their website does not allow you to purchase hours, it's only in 6 hour blocks. Anyway I told the employee that two weeks ago we didn't have to pay for the extra hours and the way he went around it felt disingenuous. I don't have a problem if you are upfront about this, but the fact that other staff didn't do this and your website doesn't do it makes it suspicious. Also - be aware that if you stay 12 hours, the price you pay after purchasing those extra hours is equal to what you would pay for a night at Marina Bay Sands. Again, they're taking advantage of passengers who have no other choice. Hopefully Covid is gone soon, we wont be back. With that said again, room was clean and quiet, two very important things for a transit hotel.
