I have stayed before and we stayed on our way to Paris and then again on our return. It is so convenient to be able to book a hotel room at the airport (minimum stay 6hrs and then by the hour), it really helps to...More
Located in the central part of terminal 3 in Changi airport, this hotel has all you need for a good night rest before a long haul flight. The room is clean, quiet and good size. The bathroom is well equipped with great shower.
Easy to find in T3 the lobby is bright and smartly presented.
The checkin process was rather lengthy and not particularly friendly even though we were exactly on time for our 6 hour booking.
The room itself was clean, quiet and well equipped. The bed...More
If I could award zero stars I would.
The room itself is reasonably clean but bathroom could do with a renovation.
The worst is the customer service or lack of it. The staff are abrupt and rude with no sense of providing guests with the...More
Rock hard bed, glacial wifi and no hot water. Ie: no work, no sleep and a cold shower. A failure on all the KPIs for a transit. No real interest in issues raised on leaving. Was way to find and aooarenrky clean.
They will ask you for a check in time. We went there about four hours earlier than expected and it wasn’t an issue. Tip: check what terminal you will be in. There are two ambassador hotels, and the airport is huge!

The transit hotels do allow a 6 hour booking. The issue would be if your airline will let you check in that far in advance. Often counters don't open until 3 hours before the flight. It might be easier just to negotiate a late check out rate with your hotel in the city. To find out which terminal go to the Changi airport website and search by your airline (although it is often listed on your ticket/itinerary) also the counter opening times are listed for some airlines as well. TA won't let me post the link.

We had a 14 hour layover going in the opposite direction and the Transit Hotel was great. We booked a12 hour slot, which gave a good amount of time to stretch our legs and eat dinner and breakfast (plenty of choice of eateries). We just took overnight things into the cabin so didn't have to worry about our main luggage or immigration as the hotel is within the airport. Great shower and a peaceful night's sleep!
