Location is not crowded but Near the MRT, walking distance to Mustafa Centre and Bugis. Has a convenience store below. Small restaurants around the area are still open after 11 pm and if you have enough budget for food it's walking distance to BigStreet (open till 3 am). Well maintained room. Clean. Free wifi. Fast check-in process. Fast reply on...

We stayed here for 2 nights with our 10 year old. Nice, cheap and clean hotel. Is small but all we needed for a short stay. In a good location, very close to little India and MRT. A shower curtain in the bathroom would have been good cause water sprays everywhere but no big drama.

Stayed 3 nights for the Singapore trip. Located at 150 m distance from Rochor MRT station in downtown line with 1 change access to NE and EW line. Nothing special - no room service as such, no attached restaurant. Toiletries and 2 500ml water bottle provided in the room. Ok only if you are as a tourist roaming all day...

Hotel 81 Rochor, is one of the budget hotels from Hotel 81 group and is located at a very convenient location, just 500 meters from the Rochor MRT (DT line) and within a km from both Little India MRT and Bugis MRT. Being at the cross roads of Jalan Besar, Rochor Road, Sungei Road and Ophir Road, it is difficult...

I only stayed for one night. Compared to where i come from, hotels in Singapore are expensive. I chose this hotel because it is close to Bugis Shopping center, but it turns out I still have to walk 10-15 minutes to Bugis Junction. And the room was small, but yet again in Singapore this is a common thing. A bit...

The room is very small even for a family of 2+1 kid. So if you are having lot of luggage it can get really cramped. But if you are price conscious which most of us are then its a descent place. Its close to Little india and other Indian eateries. There are some other hotels nearby so go for this...

The place was clean and staff was friendly. Room also looked good. Unfortunately we suspect that there were bed bugs in our beds. Over all, a good place for that price and a short stay in Singapore. We stayed there for 2 nights. The location is pretty good

Staying in Little India

Neighbourhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly coloured saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colourful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Centre, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colourful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
