We found this a good option for reasonably priced accommodation on Sentosa Island. Our room was clean and adequate for our stay without being luxurious. Some of the staff employed here have disabilities but they do their work efficiently and are friendly. Probably the best feature is the enormous pool which is lovely to swim and float about in, but good beaches are very close by.
Transport on the island means that the city centre is easily and quickly accessible, so the islands natural and many man-made attractions can be enjoyed without being too far away from Chinatown, Marina Bay, shopping centres and other city sights.
All in all a good and relaxing alternative to staying in the hustle and bustle of the city. The resort would greatly benefit from a major renovation, but that would inevitably push up the cost to stay here.

I think many of the reviews are a bit harsh our experience has been fine they let us check in early and we extended our stay by two days. Our room is not plush but has been cleaned each day and towels replaced. Yes the hotel is older and a lot of the maintenance is different to other high end hotels as they practice eco which means less chemicals and varnish on wood

Yes the bar on both the rooftop and pool no longer exist which is a shame and does mean management lose money to outside bars and 7/11 next door. They do need to modernise but the setting and the pool is quite beautiful we really relaxed. I went in with low expectations but was pleasantly surprised. At the time of our stay the price we paid was a lot less then all the other Sentosa hotels as well as many in the CBD the pool alone sold it to us and the beach at the back door made up for any of the downsides.

The rooms ( we rented 3 rooms for the Birthday celebration ) are a little bit small for families. Room interior designs and setups look tired and outdated. The exterior and swimming pools are more attractive especially the swimming pool with a waterfall which attracts all my grandchildren jumping around for hours. They enjoyed it very much. For swimming, we also went to the beach to relax under the sun on the sands and the beach is just so near. Overall, it's really a good staying venue for swimming.

However, do not think of ordering any celebration cakes ( such as Birthday, Anniversary, Graduation........) as the hotel WOULD NOT request their coffeehouse to make for you at all. Remember to bring your own cake for any occasion even the cream on the cakes may be smashed...........................

Worst experience ever.

1. We had booked from MMT and paid extra for double bed room but upon arrival I was told they cant provide me a double bed only twin bed will be allotted . When i told the guy i booked for a particular double bed room as we have a infant with us . The receptionist said as we booked from 3rd party so the bed type is not assured unless they book thru them. I had a infant baby i asked the receptionist guy to reconsider but he denied.

Next day early morning around 8 AM we didn’t have water bottles so called the receptionist to send water bottles the reply what we got was the worst response we ever came across in my life. They said the bottles will be sent only after 10:00 AM -12:00 PM . I asked the guy do we have to suffer with out water till then ? He said thats how they work and if we need before that then he asked me to go out and buy from the 7eleven store.

We booked the room for one night only as We had a plan to extend our stay for 2 more nights if service and everything is good thats what I usually do but we checked out the very next day and stayed at OASIA Resort which is 500m away from this resort. They are much more better and good location with great service and helpful staffs .

They don’t provide any customer service while checking out i had multiple luggage bags called the reception to send someone to help me with my luggage but nobody picks the call. I went to the reception and the lady said they dont have anyone to help and i have to wait 30-40 mins . The lady sounded dramatic so i said ok i can wait i will stay in the room till then , Immediately other guy next to her said no problem u can keep the luggage outside we will send someone and they picked it up within 5 mins. All they had to do was do not provide any customer service and not to care about guests. .

The location is good thought but if you spend 50- 100$ more ( Thats what i did for the next 2 days of our stay at Sentosa) then you can find other resorts with great customer service and good location

I was really pleased to see the hotel’s diversity hiring policy when I saw a Down’s syndrome cleaning lady cleaning the ladies toilets along with another cleaning lady. Five minutes later the same lady with Down’s syndrome brought me out my chicken garden salad out in the restaurant that if just ordered. It really put me off my food that someone who’d just been seen cleaning toilets was now serving food. I felt a bit sick and only ate because I was really hungry and was on a schedule. The other cleaning lady was also in the restaurant handling the cutlery and wiping down the water jug. If I get sick I’ll know who to blame.

Booked for 2 adults and 2 kids, aged 8 and 4 through their website. Was given a SUPERIOR ROOM. When I arrived to check in, there was a queue of people waiting to check in, in a small lobby, laden with luggages. Was told that the room had 1 queen bed for the 4 people to sleep on. I was shocked - what website allows you to book just a single bed for 4 people?? I'd just assumed that there were separate beds for the kids. Anyhow, paid an extra almost $450 to get adjoining rooms for 3 nights which they called superior rooms and was on the 2nd floor. There is no porter, so had to struggle to get 4 pieces of luggage, with 2 children to the rooms in pouring rain.

The rooms were small, the bathroom tiny with a small handheld shower, not more than 1 person could fit in the bathroom.
2 towels were provided for each room, no hand towels, wash towels or anything else. Towels were frayed and thin, the kind I would use to mop my floors. Floors got soaked when showering.

I'd purchased breakfast for the 3 nights - Was told that I had to make a reservation for it. Was given 2 set options for the breakfast - we ordered 2 of the 2. For every option, everything was placed on a medium sized plate, extremely small portions and totally unappetising. 2 plain and 2 raisin croissants were brought to the table by a wait staff, they were doughy, not crispy and seemed like they were heated repeated times. We didn't eat them. There were 2 variety of juices to choose from, which was 10% juice, 90% water! The only things that we got to eat from was 4, golf ball sized pancakes and 4 cheese toasty sandwiches which was to our satisfaction, everything else was terrible! The assistant manager heard our grievance, but astonishingly said to us that he has the croissants at the cafe all the time and thinks they're very nice. Certainly don't think he's had much experience with a crispy, hot, delicious croissant!

I was so dissatisfied with the rooms and the breakfast, I complained at reception. At first I was told that there were no other rooms available, but eventually was offered an upgrade. I got the impression that the 2 reception staff were under pressure and were genuinely trying to help.
I chose to take and put up with the upgraded room as I just couldn't deal with moving to another hotel with tired and restless kids. The upgraded rooms were only slightly bigger on the 7th floor, nothing else different. Towels were still of the same quality, but at least we could move a little easier without bumping into each other. The rooms were somewhat clean, I'd found a used elastoplast on the floor under the chair in the room and doona cover was stained and frayed.

I'd also requested reception to give me a refund on the breakfast for the following days, which I believe they've refunded as they told me so, but no receipts or anything to prove it.

For me, the redeeming factor was the pool area and the location. Easy access to the beach, the tram, and all facilities on Sentosa.

After reading some negative comments I felt I needed to rebalance the reviews. We enjoyed our stay at this eco friendly hotel. They are very active regarding substainabilty which can be seen all around the hotel and grounds. The pool does not use chlorine, the water is filtered through a ionised salt filter, waste food is used in the wormery, I could continue!
The rooms are not plush, more motel style but clean. This is an older hotel.
The hotel support’s the disabled community giving them jobs.
We loved the ethos of this place with the added bonus of being next to the beach, restaurants and close to all activities.

Horrible services . All they are interested is in quantity.. and have a zero quality ..
With such a huge resort .. they should have ample staff atleast to cater to the services . We stayed for 2 nights and 2 evenings at 4.30pm we were told that the staff has gone for dinner and hence we cannot be provided with iron or any other supplies in the room .Also to mention I had to call reception/room service atleast 10 times to get this answer.
After paying such exorbitant room rent , if this is the quality u give .. then it's a shame on the behalf of the management.
In a separate incident.. for all the 3 days we stayed .. we weren't given towels and had to run to the pool to get their pool towels cause they were supposedly out of stock for towels . Even when we checked in .. room did not have any towels .
We were to be given pool /garden/ beach view but all we got was blank wall view ( Room no 630) , and were obviously given a standard reply of rooms not being available 🙄.
Hotel has not bar .. not even a proper restaurant to sit and eat . Will never recommend the hotel to anyone ever . Please don't spoil your holiday

The hotel is stunning, full of nature plants and animals. We had lots of fun listening to hornbills, watching geckos run about and being with the nature. It's good value for money and our room was upgraded for our honeymoon stay.

The info guide said we needed to book time slots for the pool but this was not required, every night we would go down to the pool about 9/10pm and have the whole place to ourselves. We would sit in the lovely hot tub and relax, listening to all of the nature sounds around us. This was such a lovely special time for us, to just be alone with the nature and we were generally undisturbed, sometimes other guests would come down for a swim but the hotel was quite quiet and peaceful at this time.

The pool is beautiful and there is no horrible smelly chlorine, it's natural spring water and a lovely temperature even at night thanks to Singapore's beautiful weather.

The room was large, spacious with great shower. The view was so incredible that we didn't once close the blinds, every morning we woke up to the stunning view of the rainforest and siloso beach in the distance from the large window.

The free shuttle bus stops right outside the hotel, we got the free monorail from vigo city and this was easy to navigate, even with luggage and after a 14 hour flight and MRT from the airport- harbourfront.

Lots of the staff have special needs, which is great to see inclusivity, everybody did their job very well. Everyone was happy to help with anything needed and they were always around to help, ie when we needed some assistance with the safe.

Wifi is excellent
Cleanliness is excellent
Restaurant is excellent
Staff were excellent
View from room 715 is excellent

Best hotel we've stayed in, we were very sad to leave

One small thing is that the hotel prided itself on being eco friendly, with no straws and using spring water etc. This was great, we love being eco friendly, but we found it confusing to find plastic water bottles, toothbrushes and miniature toiletries in the room. These were great to have, but sends a mixed message on an eco resort due to it all being plastic. Maybe they are working on an alternative, but all eco steps are positive and make a difference.

Overall this hotel is 10/10
No pics of hotel on my phone, but pics of local area included

Do you love nature and the beach? If so, this is the place for you. I absolutely enjoyed staying at this hotel! The room was very clean and the king size bed was very comfortable. I did see a few ants but its to be expected in nature. I wouldn’t leave food around. I didn’t need a rental car. I used the grab app from the airport and there is a free shuttle that goes around the island and free a train. Everything you need is on the island even a 7 Eleven next door. The beach is right across the street from the hotel and night clubs. The pool and rooftop is perfect. Kid friendly resort. I am definitely coming back again.

Yes, a mini fridge is in all three of our 3 rooms. However, there may be differences between rooms. One is for sure that you specify your request upon booking and request for what you need upon checking in at the reception counter.

Did not try food delivery but there are no security barriers yo stop deliveries. Many food outlets nearby like RWS food outlets, macdonald's, Starbucks etc. Short walk or free shuttle bus ride away.

I and my daughter stayed over last summer vacation. We stayed on a floor with pool, but inside hotel is complicated and difficult to understand. Cleaning of the room is not done much. Even though I returned to the room in the evening, there were times when cleaning was not over. So, we only had towel change. It seems that the pool was fun for children. There are two slides. There is also a jacuzzi. It is not crowded at all. The hotel was dirty overall and the service was bad. The young man at reception (Indian?) Was bad feeling worst. I thought that I do not want to stop again, and stayed at a different hotel this year.
