We arrived at the Hotel and was greeted by Gabriella from Premium Services. She was very pleasant and escorted us up to our room located on the Executive level 10. It was a beautiful non-smoking room, well sized with a massive king size bed. Views were very pleasant too. The room is well designed with classic contemporary colours and the bathroom space was excellent with a private toilet and the shower ventilation is excellent. The mirrors didn’t fog up! Mini bar facilities were good too. After viewing the beautiful room, we decided to go and checkout the pool and gym areas on the lower levels. Unfortunately, we did not find these areas anywhere near as inviting. There was a major disconnect in the colour scheme. It was dull and dated and unfortunately all these areas reeked of smoke. As we walked outside to the pool area, it was clear that these levels were allowed smoking since a guest on the ground floor was sitting in his room with balcony door open, smoking away. Unfortunately, this smoking policy makes these areas all very unpleasant and highly undesirable to use the gym or pool areas at all. On a more positive note, we found all the staff to be very helpful and Jothi at the Concierge desk was particularly helpful and organised a beautiful dinner booking for us at Sentosa Cove.

I am very happy with my stay here. Checking in was a breeze and an enjoyable experience with Robin. Housekeeping was awesome. Fresh new towels and toiletries without having to request for them. They will also come again in the evening with bottled water to make sure you stay hydrated. Breakfast was so so. As my special needs child is very picky with food and only eats home made food so I wasnt about to pay 21$ for her just to enter the restaurant so I had to eat separately with my mom while we take turns to watch her (hence the 4 stars)

The automatic check in kiosks were not working. The queue for the check in line was over 45 minutes long. Only one person was checking in people, and it would take over 20 minutes per guest - I am not sure why?
Within 15 minutes of arriving at our room our luggage arrived, which was greatly appreciated.
The room was spacious for our family of four. We had 2 beds which was sufficient for our needs but I had to call housekeeping as we were only given 2 towels between the four of us.
There was a musty smell to the room, as if the room had not been aired for a very long time.
Housekeeping then provided additional toiletries which we did not need (or want) but this was greatly appreciated.
The beds were comfy, and the towels soft.
I don’t rate this as a 5 star hotel as there was not the luxury provided that is usually expected at such a place. There was no personalisation, no customer service provided by staff. What I mean by this is that there were no smiles or greeting when walking past guests. There was no concierge on duty (?) and this area appeared to be used to store luggage. Although there was a staff member in the vicinity of the luggage, this was on show (and is evident in other guest images) for everyone to see. When I compare to other 5 star hotels (such as Marina Bay Sands), this does not come close.
It was an enjoyable stay but I would not return to the Hotel Michael.

The staycation at RWS Hotel Michael exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the suite with a living area and an extremely spacious bath area with bathtub. The view from the room was great as you can see the monorails passing by, the container port as well as Vivocity. The complimentary drinks in the mini bar was rather extensive ranging from sparkling water to juices and snacks.
Love the water dispenser machine in the lift lobby area for filling up water in the water canister provided. More environmentally friendly than providing plastic bottles of water.
The room is a little dated in design but in decent and clean condition. The location of the hotel is close to RWS monorail station so it's convenient for visiting other parts of Sentosa.
The service was amazing. We were upgraded from a deluxe room to a suite at the initiative of front desk staff Karla and Pang Bo. The deluxe room initially allocated to us had water leakage issue and we waited close to 2 hours for the room to be ready. Karla sought permission to upgrade us to compensate for the delay in check-in and was sincere in her apologies. She made a great service recovery!

We stayed at the end of January and the beginning of February. It was a great experience. The location is good, and it is very convenient to visit various tourist spots in Sentosa. It is very close to Universal Studios and the light rail. When the weather is hot, you can just walk under the pergola. The room is very clean, the sleeping environment is beautiful, and the facilities in the house are complete. The buffet is very rich and the dining environment is also good. The receptionist at the front desk is very nice, especially Gabriella, the receptionist, who tried hard to help us coordinate and solve some check-in matters, and took the initiative to take us to the room to introduce the relevant facilities in the house, making us feel at home. Hotel Michael is located just near to the universal studios. The location is excellent , hotel is very well maintained and clean . rooms are big but balcony is miser , very very small you can’t stand in balconies because the distance between the balcony and the window is very very narrow. Overall the hotel breakfast was well spread. The whole day service was good. There are water and ice dispenser on every floor near the lift . So it’s very convenient to refill your bottles to get the ice for for your drinks, it’s located just at the centre of resort world , just two minutes walk from the Sentosa Central line station it is on the whole a very good hotel with very good service cleanliness and food we stayed here for three days. It was a memorable trip. The hotel staff took care of us very well. The mall is connected to the hotel, there is no need to leave the hotel to go to the luxury shops. It’s all in the hotel area. You can find many brands . You can find very good brands in the mall. It’s connected to the casino.It’s just five minutes walk from the hotel and it’s interconnected by a mall, it’s very near to the skyline luge where you can enjoy the luge rides . You can also take the Santosa line to go to the beach station. There you get the night shows the shops the beach. hotel Michael is a good place to stay if you are staying in Sentosa and I would recommend at least two nights , if it can be three it’s wonderful

As a frequent traveler, this is the worst hotel management I have ever encountered.
We booked this hotel back in April 2023 for 4 guests with full payment made. However, upon arriving at the hotel for check-in, the staff at the front desk sent us to the lounge for a drink, and the the first manager came late to explain that the hotel is overbooked and needed to send us to another hotel in the city. We did not accept the offer, so they asked us to wait again. Later, they made a counteroffer, suggesting one night at the hotel in the city and one night at the Hotel Michael. We did not accept either offer, as we found it ridiculous. They made us wait again and again and said there was no other plan that could be made. This was frustrating, as they kept checking in other guests… we are the “lucky” one who will be rejected check-in :(
Later another manager named Janee showed up to apologize and offer us the room finally. After 2 hours of back and forth unnecessary negotiations we got the room that we booked!
There was plenty of time between April and July so why didn't the hotel inform us earlier and make a better offer? The negotiation process took about 2 hours, during which we simply waited and wasted our time , it just ruined the whole experience in Singapore….
To the hotel management: overbooking is not a good way to maximize occupancy and revenue. Sending guests away due to overbooking ruins the holiday for families and damages the hotel's reputation. It's essential to find better ways to manage bookings and ensure a positive experience for all guests. Thank you!

The Hotel was conveniently located and is easily found. The room was well equipped with a water boiler, bathtub and safe deposit box. My stay was very enjoyable. My room was large and it made movement within the room very convenient. The bed was large and very comfortable and I like the colour and the decor in the room. It was very tastefully done and to me, many will like it. I found the Reception Staff who is very friendly, warm and fast. Su Kine,thanks and appreciates you as was giving me free updates of a suite room on the high floor with a nice view and I was very happy to be given a late check-out after my small request. My baby was very happy to be given an elephant doll as a gift. My baby girl and I were very happy and pleased with 3 days stay. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer. Had to return for work!

Had the best experience recently at Hotel Michael. We were there for a wedding & Christmas celebration, and were very kindly upgraded to an amazing premium suite by the team there. Shoutout to Honor from premium services who did a professional job showing us around the suite and made sure that we were well-situated with the surroundings. (Hope he gets a well deserved commendation for a job well done). Thankful to all of the team working there for the 2 days of our stay, who made it an all the more memorable experience for a long-awaited family gathering and wedding celebration!
