This is a faded motel resort in an isolated seaside location in Visaya. The motel was probably ok once, but it has faded very badly. There are no local amenities so you are stuck in the motel itself. There is no bar, no beach, no swimming pool, with only some dangerous swimming possible off the volcanic shore. There is no...

I was pleasantly surprised to have a very good stay, despite the few negative reviews. The staff were very accommodating and quick to act on my requests. I asked them once to replace the bamboo chairs, when the guests in the next cottage took it (went for a swim and when I returned, the chairs and table were now in...

Flying fish resort on poro island is a really nice and clean hotel. The rooms in the front row are big and beautiful. Directly in front, you find cliffs and a house riff were you can do snorkeling (we had our own equipment, don't know if they rent) There is no WiFi and no mobile service but I found this...

I called on a very short notice if they can accommodate us. They even fetched us at the port and driver JR even waited patiently for us since we want to have lunch first before we went to proceed to Flying Fish Resort. The drive was quite far than I expected but it is okay as long as you are...

Took a motor cycle (rented) to Flying Fish Resort. It was far from Santiago where we were staying but the trip there was intresting. I called the resort staff to ask if they have entrance, they said 20php but since we ate there nobody charged us for it. The staff were super nice and delivered our food to the bungalow...

We called in advance and said we wanted to stay for 5 nights, to which thy replied "no problem, just come!". Feeling assured, we took the ferry from Danao to the Camotes, got picked up at the port and shuttled to the resort. When arriving we decided on a cottage, got a discount for not using the AC, and again...

During our time in the Philippines we visited six hotels. This is by far the best one and one we would definitely go back to! We mostly booked hotels on the net during travelling or just showed up hoping to find something. The resort had mixed reviews with a lot of complaints of how far it was from everything. It...

Average in every way. Not good or bad. Just ..... Average ! Checked the room price and it was 2200 for sea front rooms. Bit pricey compared to my little island hotel up the hill. But it's a different type of place. Probably quite nice falling asleep to the sound of the waves.
