Its not cheap to stay in boracay and its not cheap to stay on or near the front beach. This one is very near the front beach (less than 5 minute walk) and is also very affordable. Please don't expect a hotel. At these rates, to expect more than a clean and comfortable bed with a clean bathroom to freshen...

Reltively cheap place, excellent location, very close to the beach and to restaurants, still quiet, nice staff, good AC. Bit shabby rooms, but sincerely, you will not spend too much time in your room, when you are in the earthly paradise.

Accommodation in Boracay is exorbitant and this was the cheapest we could find at PHP1500/night which is the most expensive of our 2-week backpacking Philippines. Tucked at the end of a narrow footpath, not beachfront but we settled for the unique 'cottage' style. A/C, TV, good showers, toiletries provided, no wi-fi. Nothing fantastic, but yeah the attraction is the nearby...

At the time of our stay this hotel was advertised online at 1500 PHP per night discounted from 5000 PHP. I can only assume this was a marketing ploy as the condition of the accomodation was far from acceptable for even 1500 PHP. The whole place smelled of dampness and was full of insects. Located down a dark alleyway near...

Moreno's is cheap, so if you're working with a small budget, then this fits the bill. But there really isn't much going for this place. It's also far from everything. Wi-fi is practically non-existent, which I found annoying. The room is fairly big and the hot and cold shower is great, but that's about it. Staff was rude. I transferred...

We were given the attic which was awesome because it was totally quiet. The scenery was also amazing since all we can see were trees. The staffs were also very friendly even fetching us from the port. I will surely use the same cottage when I go back there!

Unfortunately Morenos Cottages didn't quite live up to what we had expected. The location is great, just a few metres from the beach and walking distance from the hustle and bustle of station two, the accommodation itself however is not so great. The family room was small and cramped and the cleanliness of it was questionable. We found the bed...

My boyfriend and I stayed at Moreno's Residences for 9 nights in July 2014. I must say our accomodation and the friendly, courteous staff are among the good memories we brought with us. What you get is a hotel-like accomodation with functional kitchenette, good hot shower with nice water pressure, very cold ac and a very comfortable bed. We will...

We went on a trip last July 24 with my family and stayed at Moreno's Residences. The rooms we occupied are great. The staff (2 friendly and smiling ladies) are so accommodating, friendly and quick in responding to our requests. They made our stay in Boracay convenient and hassle free. Their "after sales" service are also very good. The staff helped...

So this isn't even a 5-star hotel experience but if you're looking in the price range rooms are offered for then you should already know that. What you do get is a functional room, i.e. fridge, TV, warm shower and somewhere to rest your head, which is 30 seconds from the beach. It's far enough away from the noise of...
