I've booked at the peninsula because of its beachfront location and pool. As we arrived I've noticed the hotel/room was updated, not a big problem, but only until I've noticed it was poorly cleaned, or even not cleaned at all. The toilet sink and shower still had hairs, and dirty stuff stick to the tiles, wall... towels smelled bad, like dirty water used to wash them or place were they were kept with a bad smell. There was dust over almost all surfaces and under the bed, water kettle still had water from previous guests,... The pool water was not clear, nobody was using it. Although the staff cleaned the toilet after requested, everything else was still dirty. As we arrived with the Corona virus going on and being there with a young child I truly didn't felt safe or at least comfortable at all. The staff was nice, but it was not enough. We left after first night, from our 5 nights stay. Management agree with the refund of the last 4 nights. Pros: good location, right in the beach between station 3 and 2. It has a massage spa, pizzaria , grill and corean restaurant in the resort area. But with the lack of higiene presente unfortunately nothing else mattered, we had to leave.

We unfortunately booked 9 nights at this hotel during the period between Christmas and over the New Year. It certainly wasn't our first choice, but everything else, other than the top end hotels, was booked out months before our trip. First impressions are that it is in total need of a refurb, it's tired and tatty, but the room itself was clean enough. The plumbing leaves a lot to be desired, the water pressure in the showers is poor and requires having to hold the shower head in your hand to shower properly. We were in for a real shock on the first night, our room was situated next door to a late night bar, which blasted excruciatingly loud music until one in the morning, it was that loud, you could not only hear it, but you could feel the vibrations. We stood that for 2 nights, but on the third, my partner got out of bed at midnight and went down to reception to complain and request that they either find us a quieter room or we would check out. Surprise surprise, they found us a room on the other side, where they seem to like to put the Korean guests, of which are the majority and who they seem to cater for. Apart from one other, we were the only western guests in the hotel. This hotel only serves breakfast, which is supposed to be served between 7 and 9, but we found you were lucky to be served before 7.30 and you were given a choice of continental, American or Philippine. We opted for the continental, which consisted of 3 small pieces of barely toasted tasteless white bread and enough butter and marmalade for one slice. We also had a small glass of orange and a satchel of 3 in 1 coffee, which was the tastiest part or the breakfast, but tough if you don't take sugar, because they don't give you the 2 in 1 option. Needless to say, we would not book this hotel again, but apart from everything we found the staff polite.

This place is okay. I don't think there are elevators, but the stairs are exhasssting.
I came here in July so rooms were cheaper..not peak season. The service here was decent, I can't complain. There's free wifi, free breakfast served on the second floor, a pool and umbrellas of course.
The rooms are okay.. two beds, one full and one twin. They offer the basic toiletries, a fan on the ceiling, a/c, hair dryer, a small refrigeraor with two complimentary water bottles, and an older model TV.
My favorite part of the hotel is it's on the boardwalk! Just step out onto the beach and you're good to go.

Stayed at the Peninsula Boracay Station 2 for three nights. The first impression i had was terrible..The check in staff were unfriendly and there isn't a lift so we had to climb up the stairs every time.Room is very basic.Calling for a cup of coffee in the morning took 45mins(am not exaggerating),after having to remind them.It finally arrived with a cup and sugar in a bowl with lots of ants around and in it.Climbing up and down the stairs was a nightmare everytime as there was stench of urine around..The management(caucasians) were also extremely rude. They made rude vulgar remarks in Tagalog to my friends and i as we return one night and they thought we didnt understand..Never will i recommend such a hotel to anyone.I travel around the world a lot due to work and never have i experience such horrible management of a hotel.

We spent 5 nights at the Boracay Peninsula (BP) resort in August. It was low season, and our first hotel was a bust... We had 4 criteria when picking a hotel: 1. Less than US $45/night, 2. Must have swimming pool, 3. Must be beach front, 4. Must be clean. After the research I had done prior to arriving in Boracay and the scouting out that we did while there, Boracay Peninsula was the only remaining hotel. Since it was habagat and we were staying five nights, we were able to negotiate for a premium room at about Php 2,100 per night, but you might be able to do better.
Positives: - The location is the best! Things can change depending on the season in Boracay, but BP and Boracay Regency had the cleanest, softest, and clearest sand in all of Station 2 while we were there. Station 3 was looking pretty awful. Since things aren't too rowdy during low season, staying in Station 2 was definitely the best option for us since BP is close to many of the great seafood buffets, mongolian buffets, and restaurants without being too loud. Plus, it's a short walk to D'Mall and not too far from D'Talipapa. There were also many sari-sari stores close by. [We recommend walking about two minutes (to the right coming out of the hotel) to the store called "Pascual's" or something like that. They have much better prices than the other places.]
- The premium room was a pretty good value. It had a queen and a twin, crappy TV with cable, average sized bathroom with shower curtain, closet to store suitcases, small vanity, and a patio with sitting chairs. The A/C worked very well, and there was also a mounted wall fan. There is plenty of light, and the ceiling lighting is much better than most hotels in the RP... except in the bathroom where the lighting definitely not sufficient. The view from the patio is probably pretty nice from any room since you'll at least have a view of the swimming pool and maybe a very small glimpse of the ocean. They claim that every room has a sea view.... meaning you can see a little bit of it through the trees... but still nice.
- Housekeeping was very good about cleaning the room daily, and they did an excellent job.
- The pool was well-maintained and very refreshing after being in the ocean. I think it was supposed to close after dark, but the security guard didn't bother us when we went for a late night dip one time.
- Did I mention that it has a great beach? It was low season, so we didn't have to fight over the beach chairs and umbrellas. The chairs are the kind that only lie flat, so it would be nice to have the adjustable kind. They bring them in at dark, but you can ask and they'll carry them back out if you want.
- There is free wireless internet! It was actually a decent speed, and we never had any trouble with it.
Negatives - The front desk staff seemed worn out and jaded. They weren't rude or anything, we just didn't feel any of the warmth and hospitality that you come to expect in the Philippines.
- The hotel design is a little bland, and it's definitely time for some renovations as many parts seemed to be cracked and crumbling. The ceiling of the room was repaired with packing tape, and it looked like it had a leak in the not too distant past. In addition, the patio door didn't lock! We just said a little prayer, and trusted that nothing would go missing as your neighbors can easily hop the wall to your patio if they wanted to.
- In the off season it seemed like the hotel catered very strongly to the Korean and Taiwanese tour groups. There's even a Korean restaurant on site. The reason I say this is a negative is because they tend to travel in very large and loud tour groups, and therefore aren't always the most pleasant neighbors. Perhaps this is why the front desk staff seemed worn out.
- We were so exhausted every day that it wasn't a big problem for us, but we could definitely hear music into the wee hours even though we were at the back of the resort. If you are a very light sleeper, you might want to consider ear plugs.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel because it was exactly what we were looking for- a good value in station 2 with a great beach front, a swimming pool, and a clean property. I wouldn't recommend this place to people looking to just lounge around their hotel and be treated as royalty as this is more the type of place to serve as a good place of rest from all the day's activities and night's excitement. If they could put some money into minor aesthetic renovations and if the staff could smile a little more, I think this resort could really be fantastic.

We stayed in this resort last Aug. 22, 2013 in celebration of our wedding anniversary. With us were our parents and my brother. This resort has been my first choice as this is, I believe, the most affordable beachfront hotel with swimming pool at the very heart of Boracay station 2.
I can say that our stay here were very relaxing and valuable due to its proximity to everything that the island has to offer… the beach, the bars and restaurants, d’mall (about a minute walk), d’talipapa where we ate lunch “paluto” style, and just anything under the sun!
The rooms are very spacious and are all good for 3 persons. The beds are comfy and the air-conditioning is fine, and it also has a personal fridge. Moreover, the shower room has a bathtub (in Superior room where we stayed. I just don’t know about their standard rooms). But of course there are still some points for improvement as far as room features are concerned. The breakfast is not buffet but decent enough for me. I can also say that they are pro-active in terms of servicing their guests because when I stayed beside their pool for a night drink, the front office employee came for me to my surprise and gave me a hand in opening my cold beer. Little things such as this one are always plus points for a total customer satisfaction.
Overall, I would definitely say that I have found my place in the island and will be staying here again and again and again.

In our four-day Boracay sojourn we stayed at Boracay Peninsula Resort, one of the beach-front resorts in Station 2. We picked two standard rooms on the second floor, a triple-sharing room and another room that is good for two. The room is spacious, with a single bed and a queen-size bed. It has an air condition, TV with cable, a vanity mirror with drawers, two rattan chairs and a table, mini ref, electric fan, and this big open closet with hangers. Our room has a terrace only it didn't give us a view of the beach. The bathroom has a toilet and a shower with a heater. No bidet, but it is equipped with a pail and a dipper.
The Good
1. The resort sits in front of the beach 2. It has a Shakey's branch situated by the entrance 3. The balcony (at least those that don't offer a view like ours) may be used to hang and dry your clothes with 4. Toiletries and towels are provided 5. The bathroom has a heater 6. There's a swimming pool 7. Accommodation includes breakfast 8. The staff is friendly and accommodating 9. Despite being located in Station 2 where all the happenings are, we weren't disturbed by noise when we retired for the night 10. Rooms are spacious 11. The dining area offers a view of the beach
The Bad
1. The place is photogenic, meaning it is not as beautiful as what you can see in the pictures 2. The bathroom can use a little improvement 3. The sink in our room was leaking 4. The TV is old school (not necessarily a bad thing but may disappoint those who are expecting a flat-screen television) 5. The electric fan (both in our rooms) was not working 6. Closet has no doors 7. WiFi is free but weak
All in all, my view on Boracay Pen is positive. First, it didn't cost us an arm and a leg and we experienced no mishaps in our entire stay. We were allowed to check in early and the staff was eager and prompt to respond to our needs. Also, I didn't experience that condition when you have a hard time sleeping in an unfamiliar place, or what we call in Filipino as "namamahay." The bed was comfortable, the aircon was working fine, and as I mentioned above, sleep was not disrupted by the noise of the outside world. And oh yeah, before I forget, the food they served us on breakfast tasted good.

Let me start by saying this hotel is the worst hotel I had ever been with. I was in abroad when my friend book at this hotel for us to stay for 3 days 2 nights accommodation. First when we arrive at the hotel, the staff's just look at us and didn't even greeted us. When we get into our room, the floor has some hairs, the bed seems like somebody was lying there before we get there. Shower has low pressure. Had to use basin. And the worst of all, one employee from their restaurant downstairs which is part of the hotel ask my gay friend if he can slept with me for a night.. I wanted to confront that son of a bit** but I didn't want to stoop down to his level.. Very rude & un professional people at this hotel! I had so much regret letting my friend do all out trip accommodations.

This hotel has been my choice every time i go to Boracay. Ive stayed here for a numerous time since 2008 and planning to come back again this 2013. The hotel is located in station 2 at the beach front. The rooms at the left side are pretty much bigger since its wiser to go for a room without balcony coz i only use the room for sleeping, resting and changing clothes and its also cheaper that way. The bathroom is clean, big and doesnt stink. Breakfast they provided is located on the 2nd floor which is quite average in serving, just right to start your day. But i gotta compliment the ambience since i prefer having breakfast seeing people on the beach jogging or just passing by than eating inside the room.
The only thing that is bad would be the wifi connection.
A few walks and youll find yourself besides DMall, bars, restaurants and souvenir shops.

It was a so and so experience. We rarely stayed at the hotel, only to change our clothes, shower and sleep. The beach is beautiful white sand. The stairs entrance to go to the rooms had garbage bins full of scrap from the restaurant beside it. It really stank. The front desk on the first day we checked in was rude. The room was clean and decent. Price is ok. There is a loud bar beside the hotel, but you can asked to be moved on the other side. If you're looking forward to stay at the beach all day, you wouldn't need 5 star hotel at least in my opinion. Bed is comfortable. Overall the hotel is ok to stay at to sleep at a good price. Enjoy the beach and excursions.

"Take a room on the second or third floor. Less noise. Definitely upgrade to a deluxe room or room with a view since the room without, you'll be facing a building wall."

there's a Shakey's pizza on the property.
