This place is not only a wood pile, but an expensive wood pile as well. Didn't sleep a wink and woke up with flea bites all over. Hot, stinky washrooms, and filthy dirty. Only upside is it's right on the beach. For the same price you can find much nicer places.

Horrible room, crazy expensive for what they offer. You can find much better locations at more or less the same price. They tried to steal money from us charging all the nights of our original booking even if we left just at the arrival because we didn't like the room, when the booking policy said clearly that only one night...

We booked Banana Staging through Agoda after spending hours trawling the internet for a hotel for a backpacker's price. This place was still very much on the expensive side of what we are normally willing to pay but there really is not much choice on Boracay. We arrived late and the hotel had forgotten to clean the room since the...

If you plan to kitesurf and look for a budget place to stay not far from the beach, here it is, Banana Saging. We stayed there 6 days, and really enjoy the place located only 2 steps from Bulabog beach. We stayed at the artic room on the old building with its one private balcony but shared bathroom. It comes...

I stayed with 3 kids and nanny last month. Peace sumarizes the feeling. They have a native "sala" sitting/dinning room for the use of the guests. One of the few places allowing barbeque on the beach front. Cafeteria can prepare lowsalt, transfat-free, smash, .... fresh ingredients. Not to miss the high tide coinciding with fullmoons when waves splash feeling the...

I stayed at Banana Saging for 2 weeks and it was great. Boracay is a very busy island, with loads of turists, but almost everybody stays at the White Beach, Banana Saging is located at Bulabog Beach, on the other side of the island (but just a 10 minute walk from the action). They have 2 buildings, the new one...

“On the older building (the first one facing the beach) you will have access to WIFI and will have the wind to make sure you are not too hot when you sleep but shared bathrooms. On the back building (more recent) you will have your own bathroom. So you need to choose.”
