We stayed here of Feb 13-16 at a 2 bedroom premium villa- Sibultan perched high in the forest landscape. Our villa reachable by stairs , funicular , or shuttle car. The funicular is not functioning when we arrived. ( apparently, it's not functioning for awhile now) so we hiked up and down the stairs everyday which is a good exercise :) It just would be nice if the funicular is an option specially when you are tired. The rooms are spacious and clean and the outdoor shower and tub is serene specially when Cynthia, our butler, prepared a nice hot tub decorated with petals after we arrived from one of our excursions. Cynthia and Kerrine was phenomenal in asking us what we needed from offering to unpack our luggage to organizing our excursions , our meals at the veranda, nightly treats at our villa, as well as the Valentine dinner for our group of 7. While the hotel premises and location are wonderful, it needs more tweaking. The stairs to go up the villa is the well maintained. The rope handles are broken and not safe. It needs rebuilding to a more sturdier stairs and needs to be re constructed and re -tiled/painted. There are also a lot of junk stuff laying around near mechanical equipments on villa and the landscape is not well manicured or maintained. Our villa has plunge pool but it's not working. It's empty and needs work. How can they not take care of this specially we planned this vacation in Dec? Our bathroom fixture valve also not working. There's no cold water running. Clearly, they don't have maintenance checking on hotel maintenance on a daily basis. Breakfast choices need more work. There's not much available. Running out of mangoes, yoghurt etc all the time. The wonderful part is our excursion with Benson and Sedrick. We had lunch at Hayag Beach club . Own private island to ourselves. We were supposed to go to Cadlao but it was cancelled since they closed it for filming. A disappointment! So we went to Hayag again for lunch. Fortunately, we were able to go to the famous Big lagoon.

We’ve been to El Nido several time and we usually stay in Pangulasian but this time around we tried Lihim Resorts.

We’re glad that we stayed in Lihim. Yes, it doesn’t have a beachfront like Pangulasian but we enjoyed our stay nevertheless. The resort had a good occupancy rate from what I could tell during breakfast but once you go back to your room, partake of the the various tour options - it felt like that my family and I were the only ones in the resort which was wonderful for us.

We stayed at the Duli Villa which is a one bedroom villa but with a private pool overlooking Bacuit Bay which was perfect. The villa was good for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids under 12) though showing the effects of weather but nevertheless works well for us. Having a full kitchen as well was great.

The villas are staged across the face of the mountain or hill that the resort sits on. We were lucky that the funicular was working on the back half of our stay so going up and down the resort was not an issue. If we need to walk, the walk down was enjoyable for the kids and gave my wife and I our “exercise of the day” but going back up we take one of the 4x4 pick up trucks from the resort to bring us close to our villa. But when the furnicular is working, it gets you up right to your villa and up and down the property.

We can’t say enough of the food - pretty much everything we tried was good. We enjoyed room service the same way we enjoyed eating at Henri’s overlooking Bacuit Bay which was the same view as well when we ordered room service.

We took the Festive Tour and had lunch at Hayag Beach and visited Cadlao Lagoon which are both “secret locations” that only Lihim guests have access to. Hayag was the best for us - very private beach, clear water, fine sand etc and we probably spent like 6+ hrs there on 2 separate occasions. Hayag is a must which is also where we had the lunch as well part of the Festive Tour package.

All the staff as well were very good and accommodating. Special mention to your butlers Jude and Ken, Jeswell who took us on the Festive Tour and helped our son enjoy the “waves” at Hayag, Jigo who drove the boats, Sheva who accompanied us to Cadlao. Thanks also to Ahmed the GM for being approachable and exhibits that personal touch and the chefs, cooks, waiters who were all hospitable.

Best stay of my life (and it's not even close). You can tell Lihim Resorts has put careful thought into every detail of their resort. This was my second time coming to El Nido, so I thought I knew what to expect, but Lihim went above and beyond all of our expectations. Starting with Neil and Clyde, our butlers who coordinated everything we wanted, came up with great itinerary suggestions, and were always quick and attentive to our needs. They exemplified what service should look like at a 5* resort. The Gana restaurant served a nice range of food and drinks with a beautiful view and terrific service. Having the option to dine on the deck of our villa was an amazing touch.

The room itself was nothing short of spectacular. 180 degree wrap around deck with a private dip pool. We could've spent days in the pool itself taking in the view and the sounds of the forest. Spacious bathroom with a free standing tub, separate rainfall shower, and a private outdoor shower as well. Fast wifi. Great AC. Every night we would come back to a selection of petite fours waiting for us in our room.

If all that wasn't enough, Lihim has the best tour guide in all of Palawan. Cedrick (I apologize if I misspelled his name) was our tour guide for both of our excursions, and he constantly went out of his way to make our experience memorable. Each location we went to, he would take our cameras and get the perfect pictures of us, even recording underwater footage while we were snorkeling. I have a 7 minute video that he recorded of him diving to inspect the coral and schools of fish that is so fun to watch back and relive our experience. While we were at some of the popular spots i.e. big lagoon, secret lagoon, etc, other guides would be taking pictures of their groups, while Cedrick was scaling 20 feet up the sheer cliff to take wide angle shots of my wife and I. I overheard people saying they needed him as their tour guide.

The highlight of the tours were the private lounges. When I first heard Lihim had private lounges, I wasn't too eager to see them. But I couldn't be more wrong. We were able to get away from the crowds at some of the most spectacular parts of El Nido to enjoy lounging at their fully staffed lounge, enjoy an amazing meal, paddle board, kayak, you name it.

There was so much more that we enjoyed and wish we would've had the chance to enjoy. We booked a couples massage and it was the perfect way to unwind after a day of activity. There is also a private tennis court which we would've loved to use if we had another day. I heard they are opening a 2nd restaurant too, so even more incentive to come back.

If you're wondering about the price compared to other resorts in El Nido, I can honestly say that there is no comparison. With El Nido becoming more popular with tourists, you won't get the full El Nido experience at most other places, and definitely not the level of service, convenience, or luxury that Lihim has to offer.

Salamat Lihim!

The resort itself is beautiful however it is not beach front. We had to travel by boat to different islands but that was okay with us. The suite we stayed in had a wonderful view and the beds were soft and comfortable. The food was delicious and had the perfect portion. My favorite was the beef tapa. Henri’s was also a great place to go to. The view from up there is incredible. However during sunset, we saw a lot of bugs “gamo gamo” around so we went into the restaurant. I don’t like bugs.

The package tours they offered to us was also worth it. I enjoyed our private speedboat and island hopping and snorkeling. Our boat driver and tour guide really took care of us. As well as the 2 trainees who tagged along with us. We visited another Lihim property called Hayag and it was by the far the best location in terms of the beach. The sand was fine and not rocky, the water was clean and we also did a last minute banana boat ride.

Our butlers named Mars and Angelo went above and beyond taking care of us. They assisted us to and from the suite, to henris, to our tours and to the town. I’d like personally thank Angelo for assisting me in the town as i bought a souvenir and walked me back to the restaurant.

Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. They made sure we had a pleasant stay. However, to visit the other Lihim properties such as Hayag and Cadlao we had to pay extra to stay there considering the amount we have paid for our entire booking.

But overall, we will definitely come back when we have the chance.

Our family recently enjoyed a fantastic vacation in El Nido, and we decided to spice things up with a stay at Lihim resorts.
We chose to stay in the Manlag suite, a fantastic choice that was conveniently close to the pool and spa.
They assign you a personal butler who stays in touch with you through WhatsApp, making your stay truly special..
What makes Lihim even more special are the people who work there.
Neil and Ener(Butler) in particular, provided exceptional hospitality throughout our stay. They were always available 24 hrs ready to assist us whenever we needed anything. It's this kind of personal touch that made us feel like part of the Lihim family.
Thanks ENER and NEIL you were outstanding 😄👍
The resort has some of the best lounges.
Your visit will be incomplete if you won’t visit Henri’s it’s one of our favorite due to its breathtaking view and excellent service. The staff at Henri’s were very friendly, and my kids thoroughly enjoyed chatting with them. They engaged with them exceptionally well.
We also had an amazing day at Cadlao Lagoon(personal lagoon), where we enjoyed personalized snorkeling and kayaking experiences. The kids had a blast in the personalized lagoon with a friendly guide Mark.
Speaking of the spa, I have to give a special shoutout to Chai, the spa therapist. Her techniques were truly amazing and added a new level of relaxation to my stay. I tried the hilot spa, and it was incredibly refreshing.
Another great aspect of our stay was the efficient transport services to El Nido city from Lihim resorts. You get a private speed boat under some minimal cost with no waiting involved which made our trip even more convenient and enjoyable.
The Gana restaurant deserves special recognition for its exceptional customization of food based on individual preferences. As a vegetarian, I was impressed when the chef personally provided me with tailored options that consistently exceeded my expectations.
I must also acknowledge the outstanding work of the manager, Mr. Ahmed, who efficiently oversees the restaurant's operations and maintains the property to a high standard.
We decided to leave a few lounges unvisited this time, as we plan to explore them on our next visit.
If you're seeking a relaxing getaway with top-notch service and beautiful amenities, I wholeheartedly recommend Lihim resorts. It's a place where personalized experiences truly shine, and you'll leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
Kudos to the entire team, and we look forward to returning soon!

This resort is one heck of an experience! I wish I didn't book it at the latter part of my vacation. Before I booked my first trip to the Philippines, I happen to find this hotel on Instagram. Just the photos alone had me captivated. What a surprise that when I arrived (and this may date me) but it was reminiscent of Fantasy Island, where the staff greet you as you stop off the speed boat. I knew then it would be great.

I had the best butlers, Jennifer and JL, who were friendly and attentive to any and all my requests. A chef that had such talent, the food made me want to shed a tear with every bite. All the staff, really, was just top tier, from the server to the bartender to the massage therapists, to shoot, even the facilities staff. Oh, and the massage...the best I've ever had in my LIFE.

My room was spacious and gorgeous. I had a wrap around deck and an outside tub, which by the way, a bath was drawn for me while I was eating breakfast at the restaurant. The little intricate details that they included with my stay had me in awe the entire time. I could go on for more paragraphs, but one can get the gist that this place is a must stay. I was alone, so I couldn't do halfsies on the nightly cost (a teeny pricey) with someone, but it was worth every single penny. Every single penny! I will return next year. I'm already so excited.

Everything about Lihim was incredible.

From the Villa to the staff and the tremendous help that they were to me.

I have a mobility issue and there were always one and most of the time two people to help me down stairs or give me balance walking on the dock too the tour boat.

Neil and Anne were fantastic were there to see to our every need.

Jameson and Benson were our boat driver and guide throughout our entire visit to Lihim and were themselves amazing.

Ahmed, the manager of the property was also very attentive and there to see that there was nothing left unturned and also provide suggestions for excursions to drinks or whatever we needed or wanted.

The entire trip was a dream come true.

Many visitors are drawn to El Nido’s spectacular views but no other place can beat Lihim Resort’s majestic views. For its privilege guests try the Henri Restaurant, food is great and reasonably priced and location is simply WoW and lunch tour in Cadlao Lagoon is really breathtaking. Truth is we’ve been to Palawan’s other luxurious accommodations but nothing can beat the enhance and cheerful practice of service of the Lihim’s staff (from manager Sir Ahmed, Ms.Jenny of the reservation office, down to our butler sir Leo and sir Angelo) they definitely ensured the most personalized and attentive care. We stayed there with my 2 grandchildren and they had so much fun. Kudos to Lihim Resort!

Service was 5 star thanks to our butler Mars. Food and menu was pedestrian at best. definitely not international standards. Food rated at 3.5. Typical average Philippine restaurant serves better. If you are paying 5 star prices for lodging you expect to have 5 star food options. The food was not bad just boring and with little taste . I only ate less than half of a rice dish. It would have been nice to have had an option for Lechon cebu at least once in a week. Premium suite with pool was wonderful with spectacular view. Food and bev mgr told me they did not have an international chef. That i knew. Plus there was a dispute the first morning at breakfast. I ordered a glass of champagne which was on the menu. Waiter told it it was "unavailable " by the glass and i would have to buy it by the bottle. Mgr came over and told me he did not want to open a bottle for one glass- despite the offering by the glass on the menu. It was resolved when he did on the reassurance that I would be there a week.

Amazing experience. The resort demonstrates the beauty of Palawan with excellent service, food, and drinks. One of the best resorts in the area and the views are amazing. They also have their private islands where you can enjoy the beach in a clean and calm environment with beautiful white sand and provided sunbeds/services.
