Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

As stated, this hotel is located right on Corong Corong beach and is easy walking distance to local shops, restaurants and bars in the quieter part of El Nido. Not walking distance to town, we rented a motorbike. This hotel is very dirty, we stayed for 5 nights and left the 'please clean room' sign on each day but they never cleaned our room. We also had to ask repeatedly for toilet roll and most of the time we were ignored so ended up buying our own. There is no bar or restaurant, only breakfast which is actually quite good food. We rented a motorbike via the security guard, who seems to be the one running this hotel, and he asked for 600 peso and insisted we pay immediately. When we rented at reception for a second day we were charged 500, when we asked why we paid him 600 the day before, all he said was commission. He also quoted 12,000 for a private island tour when other companies quoted 6000 so we gave that a miss. One our first 2 days the pool was out of action and filled with yellow dirty water. This did improve but the pool was still dirty. There are also dead Hornets in the lamp shades of the rooms. Would not return, rubbish value for money and dirty. Such a shame because given the location they could make this place so much nicer.

Wouldn’t recommend staying at this place. Overpriced, not very clean and the staff aren’t that friendly. (The security guard was so kind and helpful though! So thanks to him). They don’t have wifi- so don’t believe them when they tell you they do. They’ll lie and say they have wifi and convince you to buy a SIM card because the wifi doesn’t work on a foreign phone. Location is great though! Corong corong is a great spot to be, away from the dusty, craziness of el nido with lots of restaurants/bars along the beach.

Horrible experience!... Very expensive compared to resort just next door! No WiFi! No fresh drinks! I have to claim to clean the room and the last night someone came at 10:30pm to remind me that I have to check out the next morning

Guys don't be fooled, they don't have wifi!! Me and a friend stayed here for 4 nights. No wifi whatsoever. Pork Adobo - pork and potatoes were raw. Only hyenas can have that meat. These guys lost my favorite shorts which I had put to dry. Just don't stay here. Pathetic is an understatement.

Thought it was an actual four seasons until we actually arrived haha not a real four seasons. Anyways, nice place. Extremely friendly staff. It really owns up to the expectations of the town. I would come back.

I stayed in this place with some friends a few months ago. Once arrived there we had a huge problem with our room, it should have been a triple room and they gave us a small room with two twin beds and kind of mattress for the third person, not acceptable at all. After a big discussion with the staff finally they changed our room but right after that appeared another problem, the wifi was not working and it was a big problem because one friend of mine had to work that evening. I want to say too that on the webside was written that the wifi worked without problems. Until the end of our stay we could not use the wifi. Want to mentioned too that on the pictures of this place you can see a nice uncovered pool with direct views of the beach...forget about it, the swimming pool has been closed since months and you simply can not use it. The staff is unpleasant and looks like to have no intention to help to solve the issues. The power went out in our room at least 2 times per day and sometimes there was no water to have a shower. I really do not recommend this hotel because instead of relaxing during your holidays in this incredible place El Nido, you have to struggle with all the problems that may arise there.

Despite what is advertised the Four Seasons hotel has no wifi, no TV, pool water brown and closed, no beach access, whole outside area was a construction sight with rubble and builders everywhere who started work very early. Hotel staff barely spoke any english so our compliants regarding the above were met with a shrug of their shoulders and "the manager is not here and is uncontactable so we can't help you". We booked a shuttle van through the hotel on our last day and they booked it to the wrong airport despite very clear instruction and paper work from us. If you are looking for an overpriced uncomfortable bed, mosquito and hornet infested bedroom and an unsatisfying breakfast then stay at Four Seasons, if not, avoid at all costs and pass on the message! Four Seasons is awful but its a good area so instead much better nearby hotels (may not be listed on travel comparison sights) are: Buko, Outpost hostel, DoubleGem, Pukka and many more along the beach front.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights and it costs us $252 Cnd. We booked it pretty far in advance because I was doing my scuba certification in town. The pictures make it look way more beautiful then it actually is, we got there and they said there was no wifi and no pool. So basically all we had was an OK room that we paid 80$ a night for. The shower was dirty, the drains seemed like they hadn't been run forever, and there was no toilet paper. The staff didn't even seem to have us on file when we arrived so it took a while to sort out a room. We wanted to leave and go somewhere else but we had already been charged by Agoda. We had stayed in other resorts for way less money and way more amenities. It was pretty brutal for how much you pay for it. Good luck!
