Some large quiet and relaxing cottages decorate a garden rich of nature in the shade of a coconut grove. A large swimming pool heated by the sun is next to the cocktail bar. You are 30 meters from the beach of Corong Corong and small restaurants, to enjoy swimming or the sunset.

The rating I just gave was a rating intended for the staff. El nido coco resort is a quaint resort located around approximately 15 minutes away from the center by tricycle). We have been staying in hotels most of time when we travel hence decided to stay in a place with the concept of having a bungalow/villa for a change. Arrival was smooth. We were greeted with smiling faces and very accommodating staff. Our unit was nice looking, spacious. Since there were 13 of us in our group, I booked 2 villa, 1 bungalow and 1 family room. I like their sizes of their villa however, they need to improve more on some areas. Though we didn’t use their toiletries, they should provide more for their clients. What they are giving out are some items intended for a motel or 1-2 stars hotel accommodation (they have toothbrush but no toothpaste, no conditioner, etc). They also don’t have wash cloths. Instructions for safe is not to be found. Hence we have to call the staff to show us on how to do about it. Jacuzzi needs cleaning. It needs to have a good scrubbing before it can be filled with water. The pool was very inviting. However, the flooring around it should be safety for the clients. It is very slippery.

Even if I have a lot to make a comment regarding the facility itself, I decided to refrain from doing it since the attitude of the staff compensated everything. Staff was awesome. They delivered above and beyond the call of duty. Always attentive, smiling and knows how to anticipate our needs. When we checked out, we got a text message on our way back to Puerto Princess. One of my nieces, left her phone in the villa. We suggested ot have it mailed instead. Surprisingly, they decided to deliver it to the next hotel where we have decided to stay. Hence, the phone was delivered exactly the same day it was found. Their staff drove 4-5 hours to puerto prices a from el nido just to be able to deliver the phone. Now, that’s what we call excellent service…

The tropical garden is beautiful, with the restaurant’s veranda, the pool and the bungalows all around it. Staff are nice, very helpful and polite.
The location is also good in Corong corong, with pool and bar on the beach, only five minutes tricycle ride from busy El Nido as well as from beautiful Las Cabañas beach, but with a few nice restaurants and bars nearby, so everything is somehow close.
The bungalows around the pool seem good quality, with lovely verandas.
The “beach bungalows” are outside the garden, along a lovely path that leads to the beach bar. They are quite basic and a bit rundown, would help to have some extra items of furniture to make them more comfortable, including a shower curtain, but are clean and decent. Perhaps the value for money is better for the garden bungalows than the beach bungalows.
Breakfast not the best, but there are quite a few choices as well as fruit.
Would come back for the location, the garden and the nice staff.
PS great massages available near the pool.

We booked a bungalow for a week at this hotel, the phone contact with the reservation staff was more than informative, they took care of all the procedures relating to the El Nido tracking system for us. We are from Manila and the trip was finally very easy.
The bungalow is a bit far from the pool, but very close to the sea, which is perfect for sunsets.
The breakfasts are generous.
El Nido still lacks a variety of activities, but it's coming soon.
Overall a really nice stay.

The staff at El Coco are extremely helpful and always available. We stayed in the Villa which was excellent. They had a refrigerator in the room which was fantastic. It is a short walk to the beach. We arrived post-typhoon so it took a few days for the beach to get cleaned up secondary to the Highwinds. I recommend El Coco resort.

A few things to keep in mind. They provide small, round, soap which does not lather and frustrating. They also provide packets of shampoo that are also ineffective. I recommend bringing your own body wash and shampoo or going into town and purchasing what you may need.

The breakfast choices do not change. They also only allow you one cup of coffee. If you want more you have to pay additional pesos.

The last comment makes me sad. We witnessed, more than once, management berating the staff. It was in a public area and very embarrassing……not only for the staff but as customers.

We stayed nights in this place. We took a family bungalow close to the beach. The decor is simple but we had large beds and a large shower with hot water. The staff is very welcoming and the meals and breakfast are of high quality. A bar allows you to watch the sunset on the beach and a large swimming pool with deckchairs is available. Island hopping can be organized by the hotel with quite attractive prices, particularly for private tours.

This is a nice resort, quiet, picturesque, with a relaxed beach vibe. The facilities are spread out which results in nice privacy, but can mean a bit of a walk to your room, especially for bungalows next to the beach. The beach offers a nice view of the bay and is the site for the beach bar which also serves as a restaurant. Everything available at the main restaurant located by the pool can also be ordered at the beach bar. The restaurant has a good selection.

My only problem with the resort is the reception staff. When shown to our bungalow, it was immediately obvious it was not the "Sea View Bungalow" that I'd booked, but one of their standard bungalows, which differ both by location/view and the decor/amenities in the room. I went back to the office to inquire about the room switch, and was simply told that the room I booked was already occupied and the room I got was what was available. End of story. No apology, no offer to refund the price difference or compensate me in any way. At this point I contacted customer service of the booking website I'd used, who were very helpful in contacting the property. Soon, the manager informed me that they would refund 1/2 of the room price, a satisfactory solution. Unfortunately it took outside help, the hotel staff were unwilling to help until then.

Aside from that one glitch, we had a nice stay.

This is my first time to Palawan and have always wanted to visit here. It's about a 3 hour drive from Puerto Princesa, but very convenient to El Nido Proper. My friend booked this hotel and hotel rates for 4 nights were unbelievably inexpensive! Prior to this trip, I came in blind with no research into what was in store for this new experience. I came in completely blind and just went with the flow.
Upon checking in, I'm blown away with how close this resort is to the beach. It's a completely beach style resort type of hotel with a variety of rooms, Bungalows, and different types of rooms depending on how many people are in the group.
Hotel Amenities include swimming pool, no Fitness Center, complimentary breakfast at the pool side restaurant, 24/7 front desk with concierge service for booking activities, a gift shops and private beach access.
The room my friend booked was a Bungalow. Room was furnished with a King Size Bed, air conditioning, in-room safe, single bathroom, mini refrigerator with a ton of ala carte alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. There's also outdoor lanai seating area with a cold water whirlpool which I thought was a jacuzzi, complimentary WiFi, plenty of closet space, and the most important item is an electronic big zapper!
Hospitality service is excellent. Spa features services which me and my friends enjoyed after a day of excursion. I didn't mind that our massages were in an open-air lanai, while the bugs weren't bothering me, they were biting others in my group lol.

This is a great option for your El Nido stay. Very calm and quiet place to stay. Located 10 minutes away by tricycle from Vanilla Beach / Maremegmeg Beach / Las cabanas area and approx 10 minutes going to the main town/ island hopping jump off point. Nice & clean compact villa/ bungalow type accommodation. Staff were really friendly and always visible though front desk is not 24 hours but security and other staff ready to assist. Main pool operating 24 hours, which is a surprise. Another mini pool with pool bar located near to the beach area is also a delight. Beach is not so inviting. We prefer visiting the vanilla beach area for a swim. Great selections of Food & beverage offerings.

This is our 2nd time with El Nido Coco and I must say, they're our vacation saver! We originally booked from a very known hotel in El Nido but unfortunately need to transfer here. Why Coco resort? They have spacious, clean and cold villas, they have clean and warm pool, courteous staff and very friendly owner who will personally attend to your requests. To add that if you want convenient place nearby the commercial area, this place is only 5mins away to serena street, their staff will help you get a tryke to get you there. I would also recommend their burger meal and milk tea options for snacking and cravings after a long day of island hopping 😅 Thank you Coco resort for an amazing stay! 🙂

Ridiculous bungalow offered at around a hundred euros per night without breakfast, dilapidated room and bathroom of approximately 1.5x 2.5 square meters including toilet, sink and shower combined...
Shower head without pressure, mixer to adjust the temperature back in an ancient century... not to mention the number of ants which invade the bathroom and the bedroom... or after complaining the shower head was changed and the ants eliminated by a simple anti-insect bomb.
In addition, every morning at dawn we are woken up by noise pollution of unknown and strange origins coming from the roof...
No commercial gesture was made with all these inconveniences.
French boss full of herself clearly expressing her superiority in the face of her staff whom she calls "her minions" in addition to being naughty and racist when speaking of the Muslim community who I quote "are all part of Daesh" according to her and have nothing to do on El Nido “they should go back to their island”
Positive :
Very friendly and always smiling staff
Ideal location with magnificent sunset
Expensive restaurant but very good quality

I haven’t seen any lizards in any of the rooms in any resort I’ve stayed in. Best keep your door closed when not in use to keep out mosquitos too. You may see lizards around the grounds and island but you will have to look hard as they are shy creatures. If you go I hope you enjoy.

I dont think el nido coco resort has a van for guests. Although they may refer one. Transfers from airport or pier are normally done by tour operators. Our transfers before were handled by a tour operator which we also used for island hopping. I am not comfortable referring the tour operator we used though as service was not exceptional.
