This is my second stay in this hotel. I loved the lobby and interior and the location which is in the middle of Malioboro St. The bedroom however was very small and need refurbishing. Breakfast was mediocre, and the music was waay too loud--could hardly had a conversation with my company.

I stayed one night at punokawan, a backpacker room with 8 bunked beds. Every bed has its electricity plug, lamp and quite big shelf to keep your stuffs. The room is wide and has 4 airocnditoner. At that time, I stayed alone, bit spooky, but I can sleep well without any disturbing. It has separated toilet, with the hot water...

I stayed in the backpacker room which was huge and had eight bunkbeds made of solid wood and curtains for privacy. The room also had a/c which was a rare treat for me and the bathroom had hot water but breakfast is not included with the backpacker room. The wifi didn't work up on the 3rd floor though but worked...

the good thing about this hotel is, it is inside the town attraction, Malioboro. the concept of this hotel is also unique, it is an ancient javanese style. but, do not ever book the backpacker room, it is called Punakawan room. this is the one i really regret during my 3 night stay in this hotel. the backpacker room is...

Ameera hotel is located in the dagen. precisely about 200 meters from Malioboro street. location is very strategic and very indulgent to just close to Malioboro. This hotel is very unique concept. contemporary feel with a typical Java interior surrounds this hotel. ranging from exterior to interior rooms serving conceptual with ethnic Javanese Yogyakarta. The hotel also provides ample parking...

My room was quite small especially when they put extra bed inside it. for 3 people it was so hard to move but still acceptable. In term of breakfast, they didnt have a lot of choice. the best thing about this hotel is the location. it is situated near the malioboro street just take about 100m of walking to the...

I recommend Ameera Hostel especially for the location which could not be much better. Also the price is right. I didn't get the dorm room I chose and paid for through Agoda, but didn't mind. I had some problems with the wifi connection so if you depend on it maybe choose another place to stay. Some of the staff was...

The Ameera is a little long in the tooth and the rooms are very small, but the price was right and it's location one block from Malioboro Street gives you the full in-city experience, with the street vendors, beceks and Andungs everywhere. The hotel's walls are thin and the guests do not seem to care if their kids are in...

I paid 100000 for a bed in dorm. The price included breakfast. The hotel is well located, 5 mns walk from station and close to the main street. You can walk everywhere from here. The rooms are clean. The only minus is the very noisy prayer call at 5am and the planes arriving at the airport flying over...

It seems a nice place and we did not took the time to check TripAdvisor. Our mini room had a nice view on the parking, with full engine noice and fumes for most of the day and the night. Internet was more or less unreachable.
