Hotel is located next to Bakhor Street and 1 hour from airport. The rooms were updated very nicely and clean. The included breakfast was pretty good with eggs cooked to order and coffee. Lots of Chinese options too.

The sign in the lobby states the Thangka is a 4-star hotel, which it may have been, back in the 80s when first fitted out. Nowadays I'd say it's a solid 3-star.

we stayed in lhasha for 4 days at this hotel.it is small hotel tucked away in an alley.not impressive at all.a 2 star by far not a 4 star.cold limited breakfast.felt like we were camping.beds were uncomfortable.not recdommended
