This is not a high end hotel, everything is basic. But it has a great feel to it. I stayed in that hotel twice and I absolutely love it. Location is great, decoration wont let you forget where you are and breakfast is very tasty. In addition, you get an amazing view from the roof, dont miss it.

And would stay again-its selling points for me was ok price very good staff who speaks good english (not all) and helped me with quite a few things on my 2 stays before and after a longer trip-the main thing however is the closeness to the main monestary...2 minutes walk (if that) to the "kora" around the temple Not sure...

I was in Tibet for two weeks in this September. For the 6 nights I stayed in Lhasa, I was staying here. The hotel was well decorated and clean. Just located on Bakhor street, it's only minutes walk to Jokhang Temple, where you can see lots of prayers from many Buddism countries to pray, especially during sunset hours. The staff...

This is in a great location and right in the old town of Lhasa. It is a of a Tibetan theme and the breakfast was great. The staff were so helpful and the owner spoke excellent English. The electric blanket is a very welcome addition on chilly evenings and the hotel has a magnificent view of Potala Place from the...

Nice rooftop with view of Potala Palace. Decent breakfast with choice of Chinese or Western option, comfortable rooms decorated in traditional Tibetan style....

Stayed here a total of 5 nights and were grateful for its convenient location. It's right next to Barkhor street and all the places of interest like Potala Palace are within walking/bus distance. Penny was especially helpful when my husband had some symptoms of AMS. The staff preparing the breakfast every morning made my day. Can't wait to be back...

We stayed here for two nights before and one night after our tour through Tibet and really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly with changing the dates of our reservation (due to change in tour by border closure), making breakfast the day before as we'd left very early and even with searching tv channels to find the olympics!...

Just step away from Barkhor Street in a quiet ally of Lhasa old town. The hotel is also known as the "Babao Hotel" - Chinese name. Due to it's great proximity to Barkhor Street we were able to wander around the Barkhor circuit many times without expending too much energy. We stayed here 4 nights in two rooms. First for...
