I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights with friend. We are spoiled by all hotel staffs. Amazing view and great staffs. Especially the concierge staff and the girl in front desk. Our room attendant is lovely. Wish we can back soon!

Having never stayed in Tibet before and hearing mixed reviews at best on the quality of lodging here I wasn't expecting a true 5-star accommodation in such a remote place as Lhasa. The city is a spectacular and enthralling throwback to a different time, but is not visited without some adventures along the way. Once at the St Regis here,...

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights as I am a Starwood platinum member and booked through SPG website even though CTRIP is offering the room at RMB300 lower in order to get Starwood recognition. I have stayed in many St Regis hotel worldwide and I can say in terms of hardware it's one of the best and it's the...

The location of hotel is perfect for tourists but the service attitude of the hotel is terrible. Whoever is responsible for the hotel should seriously watch the service attitudes of staffs including Concierge Department. The lady (with this phone number 18908995192) is not willing to solve problems and disconnecting phone calls instead. 5* with such terrible service is not appropriate...

We looked forward to this part of our Asia trip the most. We saw the hotel pictures and read the reviews and were expecting a great experience. It has been really disappointing. We arrived today at the hotel waited 2 hours waiting to check in (despite it being 4pm) because they were "busy". Finally, we came into our "upgraded" room...

It is with sadness, I share this is not a St. Regis experience. It is a 3 star hotel experience at best, in a remote part of the world while it is charging 5 star prices. You would best served saving your money and taking a helicopter ride to base camp. The hallways smelled, the cigarette trays were filled with...

Lhasa itself is a wonderful experience, then having St Regis was the cherry on top. I stayed 4 nights in Lhasa with my two daughters and have to say that it was an amazing experience. We had Sharon as our Butler that took great care of us and my daughters wanted to take her back home with us. The hotel...

We stayed at This St Regis hotel for 3 nights in a Garden View Villa. The lobby/ lounge area was very nicely decorated and our Villa room was very spacious and too was nicely appointed - the washroom was oversized, nice sitting area plus a comfortable bed as expected. The lobby sitting area had a very nice view of the...

I'm confused by many of the other reviewers so I hope my review will add a bit of objectivity for other travelers. I think this hotel is being regarded as "good for a hotel in Lhasa" or something like that...there is a bit of grade inflation here as this hotel has some significant flaws along with its strengths. The hotel...
