Right next to the train station, but not much else. The Chinese restaurant was okay, but nothing special. The room was not all that clean. I stayed here for only 1 night for a business meeting in Nanjing. The hotel is your typical Chinese operated business hotel, may be 2 or 2.5 stars. It's okay for a night, but look...

First, the name. Listed on CTrip as "Maochen New Century Hotel", the hotel I actually stayed in called itself "Jiangsu New Century Hotel" or on some literature, "New Century Hotel". You can't select "Maochen New Century" or "Jiangsu New Century" hotels on this website, either. Secondly, the hotel advertised a wine bar. There was no wine bar to be found....

Came to this hotel for sightseeing in Nanjing, and selected this hotel for location next to train station and facilities. Disappointed to find the pool is closed for maintenance and the gym is very shabby, with equipment older than most of the staff. It's also hard to get a taxi, as the entrance area has been turned into a makeshift...

My girlfriend and I had the misfortune of staying at the New Century Hotel on our recent visit to Nanjing. After fifteen countries and two years living in China, my standards when it comes to hotels are pretty low. Even by those low standards, the New Century was s toilet of disastrous proportions. I could forgive them the inconvenience of...

This is not the best place to be in Nanjing. The building is close to the rail station and has good lake views. There is wi-fi inside the room but not inside the meeting rooms where I had a working meeting. Room carpet was dirty as well at common áreas at the hotel. Smoking is permitted, it is a long...

This hotel was a disappointment. It looked like it had potential to be a very nice hotel, however, over time it had lost its shine. The staff was friendly enough but the rooms were in need of care. Our Water Closet kept running and the TV didn't work. This hotel is far from Nanjing down town. There is a subway...

No help with baggage. Check in, check out reasonable. Rooms were OK. Free internet access. Very pleasant, relaxing, well-appointed bar. Chinese buffet breakfast with no coffee on offer. Adequate for a one night business stay - I wouldn't want to stay longer. Close to railway station for high-speed trains to Shanghai (no noise issue though).

I had booked this hotel because of the reviews. These included a review which said that this hotel had both indoor and outdoor swimming pool. When we arrived we were told that the swimming pool was indoor only and open. Upon checking we found that there was NO water in the pool and it was closed. Also the promised tennis...

This is a hotel that is close to living up to its 4 star ranking. Nice, large room with good amenities. It is within walking distance of the train station, but on the edge of downtown. Given the traffic in Nanjing, it will take a while to get anywhere from here, but it is close to a shopping area and...
