Stayed in a 4bed dorm which had its own bathroom. Next to it was a little terrace with a pool table and two cats wandering around :) Good wifi and locker in the room..good deal for £8 a night..I was really pleased and had a good overall experience, but my friends who stayed in a 6bed dorm weren't impressed at...

I stayed in a private room at the Sunflower. The hostel was booked last minute and it was cheap. I'll begin with the positives. Location is fantastic! Close to lots of street food, shops and the Confucius temple. Like most hostels the staff were helpful and the common areas were comfortable and friendly. And the bar had a selection of...

The location is amazing. It's right in the middle of the pedestrian street and Confucian Temple area. The rooms are filthy and linen needs to burnt down to avoid further damage to mankind. If you are planning to stay here make sure you have a clean bed sheet and an air freshner. Try getting the whole room to yourself and...

I stayed here during February during Spring Festival. The hostel is a little tricky to find, and I had to ask a couple people how to get there. The taxi will just drop you in front of the the Fuzimiao area, but then you will have to find your way from there. When you get into the Fuzimiao area walk...

I can't tell about the dorm, but our private room was in the horrible condition. It was dirty, without any facilities and very cold. It had AC, but it didn't help. At night we could hear our neighbors returning from some clubs or parties. They have a cafe inside, the food is ok, and relatively cheap, also they sell some...

I'm not highly into hostels but this was pretty good as, though I would have preferred the rooms and shower / toilet area to be cleaned a little more. However for a short stay, it's cheap, in a great location, and the wifi works well.

Location is good, as it is by the Confucian Temple Area, with lots of shops and restaurant. However, the subway station isn't THAT close. Staff was really friendly and helped me with a lot of information. The downside in my opinion was the cleanliness, not good at all.

Pros: The location is really good right near the Confucius temple and the action in the evening. WiFi is pretty decent and it is clean. Staff are friendly enough and the price is right. Walking distance to metro and Power Point for each bed Cons: This is the squeakiest, most rickety bunk bed I've had in China so far. The...

This hostel is located very conveniently: 10 minutes from metro stop Fu Zi Miao (line 3) and 15 minutes from San Shan Jie (line 1). It has good shower facilities (over 10 cubicles) and a nice atmosphere. You can even sit on their cosy (but small) rooftop terrace. The wifi also is good quality and there is a big seating...

No bad location in southern Old Nanjing. Comfortable enough dorm. That's the positives. This is a weirdly run business enterprise even by Chinese standards. To get to the minkit skankit toilets (which, contrary to other reports, are not swabbed out once a month: once every three days the effluent is washed onto the washroom floor) one has to waltz barefoot,...
