I don't really suggest people to come to this hotel, I lived here for 15 days and every time I go down the counter, there is always a person playing video games. There are cockroaches, the refrigerator inside was dripping water and my food were wet, the pillow wasn’t very comfortable for me, when I am showering, there is a thing to turn the hot temperature of the water and it’s very hot, every time I touch it it’ll be super hot. The dryer in this hotel also has some smoke flavor after using it. There is a curtains below the bed and every morning the sun will shine on your eyes. After you go to the toilet, u have the use the toilet paper right, the paper is so inconvenient, it will make your body and u can’t get it easily. In the front counter it calls u to take your temperature but even though u don’t take it, the people in the counter won’t care. The lift is super slow, and last time, the lift stoped on some floors and no one came in, it like stopped on 7 floors. And the door of the room needs me to close it by myself, it was like about to close but then suddenly stops and it actually doesn’t close. Also the main entrance door will open when u stand very close, so if I’m not tall, then I will need to wave my hand…wtf. The WiFi is not quite good too. This hotel has so many bad things so u don’t suggest people to come.…
I read reviews so I know how bad some people have experienced this hotel accommodation. But it’s different from my experience. I stayed here for 3 nights. My experience was very pleasant regardless of its location. Yes it is right on the wet market but I didn’t care coz after all, you’re not in Hong Kong to just stay in the hotel. You’re mostly on-the-go. Also, I find it convenient to have a wet market there coz you can actually find cheap stuff and fruits and foods. I was able to buy a hair tie when I forgot to bring some and comfortable shoes at a very cheap price when my feet got sore from those walks I did between MTR stations and sight seeing. It was an easy check in and out. The staff are not welcoming like they’re just there to do check-in and out of guests which is just fine to me. I am lucky to be provided a room that is not facing the wet market so I didn’t have the issue with the noise like what other guests are complaining about. The room is very spacious for me and the bed specially the pillows are comfy though there is no cabinet, I just left my luggage open so when I need to change, I can easily pick up my clothes. The bathroom is a bit separated not like the one I actually booked where the room is cramped and facing the glass bathroom. I was happy with my room! Housekeeping is good as well. My only issue is the hot shower. During check-in, the receptionist will tell you to turn on the heater 15-20 minutes before you shower which I don’t mind at all. But when it’s time to shower, it was BURNING HOT!! I had to play around the hot and cold shower knobs to get the right temperature. Overall, it was a satisfying and pleasant stay for me and I will definitely stay here again if I ever coming back to Hong Kong. Bonus: there is HKD$500 deposit when you check in. Also, they provide free self-serve coffee and lemon water at the lobby.…
The location is quite good as 5 mins walking to MTR but environment around is the center of fresh market and has some dirty and smell. Upon check in, very take time for check in process but is not necessary so we requested for 2 room on the same floor but was informed by them that not available if really want to stay same floor must be downgrade one room (we booked 2 deluxe room ) finally I have no choice then agreed to downgrade to superior room. The room is good with soft bed and make us comfy after the trip. Overall is going well ,Unfortunately on the last day at here is nightmare for us due to around 5AM we heard some noice like something broken then we have to wake up and found the glass wall at bathroom was broken then immediately reported to reception after that we were advice to move to new room but that time a lot of stuff unpack yet then asked them to keep it till after wake up will go back to pick it up. They refused my request and want us to pack immediately then we have to follow without the choice. Overall we understood it can be happens for this matter but the reception farewell us by question that “did we touch or do smithing with it?” I thought just say sorry or apologize to us is better than that question. For sure, we will not go back again.…
I was booked into this hotel as a last minute option by my employer. I walked in, saw the 'room' and walked straight out. It was filthy, dark, dingy, smelly, mouldy... disgusting. On tiny window with bars on it. The smell and noise from the 'wet market' below was horrendous. I've never been to prison but I assume the rooms in this hotel are similar.. or worse.
Hotel was nice the room was cleaned unlike other hotels in hongkong..room space is quite nice..the only problem is the location of the hotel..it’s quite far from the places you want to visit like Disneyland(3 trains) and the shopping places like mongkok. And the hotel is located in the street where the wet market is so litttle unpleasant walking around..mtr station is about 3 blocks away..other than the location the place is nice and rooms are very cozy
