Perfect location on Hong Kong Island: Causeway Bay where life never stops! Rooms are separate by a locked door on the different floors . They are basic and regularly cleaned. In the corridors, you have access to a fridge, hot and cold water. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. It's not easy to find cheap accommodation in Hong Kong, in...

Stayed for 8 nights. My room was cleaned everyday. Service was good and the counter guys always smile. Stayed at the triple room. Kinda small but cosy. Enough for 3 of us to chill and eat instant noodles every night as Hot water is only like 3 meters away from my room. Wifi connection is awesome too. Unbeatable price, easy...

Reading previous reviews (including one mentioned in an older edition of Lonely Planet), it seems that things have gone downhill in terms of amenities. Stayed in a double twin bed room on the 4th floor, had ants that attacked my backpack. Wireless worked only briefly, then stopped working all night. Stayed in a single room the following night (which they...

I've stayed here earlier this week as a solo backpacker checked in one of their single rooms. Pros: Causeway Bay is pretty nice especially at night when all the neon lights come out. It is close to exit D1 of the MTR. Winda and the owners have been very helpful starting from the reservation up to checking out. If taking...

I will score as excellent, if the bathroom is managed well. Bathroom is too small and not separated between toilet and shower. But room is very clean, good service, safety is very good, location in causeway bay area is excellent. We stayed in a guesthouse in Mirador mansion, tsim sha shui area, it was very scarry, unsafe, and dirty. But...

This is a great budget option for Hong Kong. The rooms are part of apartments in which there is a small kitchen area with a kettle, microwave and fridge. Although you won’t be cooking meals here it is perfect for breakfast or a snack. Everything was very clean and tidy and we found this to be a great location for...

I came to Hong Kong on a Visa run for China. Tommy and Wilson were both very helpful in getting me sorted and on my way. They were very knowledgeable about the Visa Process which is so useful. The rooms were small (this IS Hong Kong people) but clean and well looked after. If you want a big room in...

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
