A very nice and quiet hotel in a very noisy area. Across the street from Times Square, a huge shopping center and also a big metro station. Conveniently located for everything, whether on a business trip or a private visit. Good restaurants and breakfast. Note that the french restaurant (6th floor) is remarkable, both on price and service. Really a...

I guess most of the travelers already mentioned about how close this hotel next to Time Square and Causeway Bay area, it's so close that you do not need to travel to other parts of Hong Kong! As I did the advanced booking, all i need is my passport and the access cards are given right away. (less than 5...

This past trip to H.K I again stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Causewaybay. Although the hotel is compact it has been a great bargin given its location. The metro is in easy walking distance in Time Square. Also, within easy walking distance are high end shopping as well as local shops. The breakfast offered is limited by the Alpha...

Right next to Time Square, you can't ask for more in terms of location. It is the happening place. Easy to get to everything. Hotel is basic, after all, it is part of the Holiday Inn Express. So do not expect 5-star like its other cousins Intercontinental in the Priority Club. I like what the manager put in the welcome...

I'm here with colleages for a convention at the convention center. They stayed at The Harbour View, I stayed here. This hotel is right in the heart of all the shopping and hussle and bussle, but no outside cafe's or nice harbour views like their hotel. The two hotels are a 20 minute walk ( it's very warm and humid...

Visited HK in Nov '11 and stayed at this hotel. Decent property, Rooms are good, Clean. Had a comfortable stay. Room size is good for HK standards and a normal room has place for an extra bed. The USP of the hotel is the Location. Located on Times Square. The MTR (Metro) Station is right outside the hotel.

I have just returned from spending two weeks in Hong Kong on business. Most of my colleagues that have been to HK on business have stayed at the Crowne Plaza but I can't complain about my stay at the HI at all. The room and bathroom were clean (and serviced every day). The bed was very comfortable with choice of...

We stayed this hotel for 5 nights in April. The best aspect of the hotel is convenient location. It is about 5 min to walk from Causeway Bay station A exit, which is located at underground of Times Square. The tram stops are about 3 min away, and the bus stop to South is also about 3 min to walk....

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
