We stayed here for one night. Our room had a pool side view, with view to the sea also. It had a balcony as well but no furniture. Our two children stayed with us in the same room, which was big enough to fit two queen beds. We had a comfortable night’s sleep on these beds. There was also a table with chairs, chest of drawers and wardrobe space in the room.
The bathroom was big enough for a bathtub with shower, a decent sized sink and toilet. Toiletries were in Disney packaging, which was cute. There were ample towels and slippers, and we requested and received children’s slippers.
Breakfast was included in the rate, which we ate at Walt’s Cafe. It was choice between an American or Hong Kong set menu; we chose the American breakfast, which was a large enough and filling portion.
Other restaurants in the hotel are expensive and we had dinner the night before at the same venue. The food was fine but prices are reaching fine dining Michelin star standard and you don’t get that experience.
There is an outdoor pool area and a water slide that both adults and children can use. They limited the numbers and divided into timed sessions for regular cleaning, which was a good operation, so a fun time was had
The hotel was busy so check in and out times were quite strict at 3pm and 11am respectively. We were able to use the pool facilities before getting our room, and stayed in the hotel a little longer after checking out though.
There is a gym, that has a good range of equipment and free weights; I was the only person using it at that time.
They had activities through the day and play rooms around the hotel that are fun for kids and adults.
Due to current conditions we got this room at a special rate so it was good value; typically it is expensive to stay here. I wouldn’t class this as a luxury hotel, but we had a fun an enjoyable stay.

This is my first time staying at the Frozen Suite, the whole design and decoration are exquisite, there are Frozen themes in every detail and it really brought us to the world of Frozen. I have been communicating with the Kingdom Club casts for a couple times as I valued the staying experience very much. Alex was very courteous, efficient and patient to answer all my questions on the phone, and greeted us professionally while we arrived. Alexander helped us with the checkin, he is very detail minded that he can remember all of my requests and preferences, and kindly introduced us with the suite. I didn’t have to ask again when I got to the lounge later, the other KC cast (should be Ivy if I remember correctly) provided me with what I mentioned immediately when they saw me. Bonnie from the lounge really impressed me, she was very helpful and courteous, and she made me feel very comfortable to talk with. The food from the KC lounge were great, but since we have to order instead of getting by ourselves, it took more time and the casts in the lounge were quite overwhelming, I totally understand and they still delivered great service. But I wish the management can arrange enough staff to reduce their workload. During our stay, we found the air con in the room was not cool enough, Suki from Housekeeping were very efficient and courteous to help us. The rest of the housekeeping casts greeted me friendlily too when ever I encountered them in the corridor. Understanding that there are specific arrangements for the COVID19 situation now, there will be suspension on certain facilities and changes on some service arrangements. The cast member did well to call me one week in advance to remind me some of the current arrangements, like the necessity of booking the pool. However, since the park and the other 2 hotels are not opening, so this hotel were quite crowded and busy, it was extremely shocking for me to see people bring bike and riding scooter inside the hotel, I don’t think this is acceptable in the hotel. I would also like to thank KC lounge Yvonne, manager Coco and Alan.

Kingdom Club ~ The team is genuinely helpful, kind and patience to kid. My shy boy is only willing to engage with Shirley and Bonnie who always show their smiles. The hygiene and social distancing abide by the COVID measures - that's rare to find in HK! Food offering here taste much better than Walf's cafe. They also allow club resident to order take away from other outlets to dine at this secret heaven. The team I guess was leaded by a manager called Yen, she extended a warn farewell to conclude our journey.
My boy"s favoruite spot would be Funfair, I guess no one finds this hidden gem and we were like hiring a private conference room to play. (find out more from my pics!)

On 1 Sept, my fiancé proposed to me at the Disneyland Hotel, and it was wonderful.
After dinner in downtown Tung Chung, my fiancé drove me to the Disneyland Hotel for checking in. Checking in was quick and the lady from the front desk was cheerful, made me feel welcomed.
After that, we went to take the elevator up to the 7/F, the top floor, and we started walking to our room. There were different designs of the doors of the room on the 7/F. There were different themed rooms like Frozen and Cinderella, and my fiancé booked the Cinderella suite.
As we went in, the room was colour-themed in light blue, purple and white. It really does feel like going into the Cinderella animation. There was a sofa designed to have the shape of pumpkin carriage. After we got in, my fiancé got down on one knee and proposed to me and the moment was magical.
After the proposal, we kept on touring inside the room, and the furnishing was extravagant. Even the bedsheets were embroidered with patterns of Cinderella and the castle.
We then went over to the Kingdom Club, where guests from the 7/F were invited to have supper at. As we already had our dinner, we were not able to eat much. The food there had a friendly portion, it's not much but every dish was delicious. I would recommend people to have an early dinner and enjoy the food from Kingdom Club as a late-night snack.
After the night, we woke and went to the Kingdom Club again for breakfast. It was refreshing and the cast members were nice and friendly.
It sure was a magical and wonderful stay.

The hotel is large, luxurious and classic in style, with Disney music playing softly throughout the hotel. Children love to play in the garden maze.
Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Children ... remember to ask for some stickers from them and collect it.
If you are lucky, you can meet some Disney characters in the hotel area.
We booked a standard room at Kingdom Club which we then upgraded to Cinderella Suite after getting a special offer from the hotel. The rooms are very luxurious with many details from the Cinderella movie. The facilities and benefits of Kingdom Club are very impressive.
Although we stayed at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel, we were also able to visit 2 other Disney hotels nearby. Some kids activities at each hotel can be enjoyed for free. All those three hotels are within walking distance but there are also shuttle bus roaming from hotel to another hotel regularly.
A day in this hotel is certainly not enough. This is a place where dreams come true.

The staying experience was great, comfortable and relaxing, the hotel was quiet and very peaceful during this special period, not too many people around and we saw the hygiene measures have been taken very appropriately, the cleaning lady was cleaning the hotel lobby and other areas all the time. Hotel staffs provided excellent service at front desk, Bell service and restaurants, and the room was clean and smell so good and fresh, the view from my room was great too. Although dine in service was restricted after 6pm, the take away experience from the cafe was great and smooth, the food was delicious and food temperature was appropriate too.

As DVC member, I was able to book this property using my DVC points. Having stayed at many Disney properties over time I was not at all disappointed in this one as it still shows the high standards that Disney hold dear.
Our welcome was warm from the initial arrival by taxi from the airport. Check-in was smooth. There was naturally a slight language issue as we re in Hong Kong but by asking questions we were able to fully appreciate what we were being told. We purchased our park ticket from reception. We went for the 2 day pass but as the park was close by and really quiet we didn't need to use it on both days.
The room was typical Disney. Clean, and well appointed, with robes for adults and smaller people as well. There were themed toiletries replenished daily were used. A great sea view from our balcony made it more special.
The only negative was the outdoor pool was closed but I guess that it needs to be serviced at some point. We did use the indoor pool (smaller) but with some seating and relaxation around the edges. it is manned by a lifeguard which helps for those who have small children.
We only went to one restaurant in the hotel, Walt's Cafe which was nice enough although slightly limited choices but the dessert was amazing (various cakes!). There is a buffet downstairs which does have character dining as well for kids.

Despite the absence of tourists from outside Hong Kong, the hotel was quite full during summer. It was packed with young couples with their kids. Because of govt restrictions on crowds, swimming sessions had to be booked in advance. Because of the same reasons,restaurant reservations had to be made in advance, better well before checking-in. The hotel does not provide room service, but guests can buy takeaway from the restaurants and eat inside the room. The other option is to make a 20 minute drive to the nearest town mall. The hotel’s decor, facilities and service are up to five-star standards. That said, it is obvious that the furnishings are showing the effect of age. Some upgrading is necessary in the near future to enable the hotel to retain its premium Disney label.

Thank you to Joe, Best, Louisa, the greeters at the main entrance, the restaurant crew, and the lovely people in the Kingdom Club. You made my birthday celebration a truly magical experience. My room was decorated with a birthday banner above the doors overlooking the sea, the beds were dressed with brightly colored Mickey beach towels, there were an assortment of beautiful balloons, a stuffed Mickey Mouse, crowns, birthday slippers, and a cute cake made from rolled towels. There were even adorable towel “friends” placed around the room. There were lots of treats too to keep me full and entertained. Though I am back home now and reality is setting in, I have lots of warm memories in my heart. Thank you to everyone for making this occasion a turkey magical and restful experience.

Typical room is quite old and no socket adjacent the bed, i think the design would protect the children, avoid the children touch the socket but it is neglect others age of users. The water pressure of shower are too strong and the mixer is not friendly to control. Furthermore, you won’t have any privacy if your room is located in ground level, everybody can see through your room in the garden if you don’t close the curtain.
The environment of Walt's Cafe is good, but foods is horrible, we ordered the rid eye steak and pork risotto, rid eye steak is cold, even the butter source is not easy to melt on the steak, the pork on risotto is like stewed pork, the taste is not good.
I feel disappointed in this hotel as we always heard the slogan on Disneyland “have a magical day”, we are the big fans of Disney, but this time everything is out of my expectation.
One simple observation is we heard the Disney music everywhere in Disneyland but the hotel is no any background music to let the guests relate to the frame of “Disney”

Disneyland Resort Hotel has a free shuttle bus service outside the Disneyland station. Make sure you’re getting on the right bus as there are 3 Disney hotels so 3 different buses. But if you have a small kid, better take a taxi from the airport instead of taking the train. Airport is on the same island as the Disneyland Resort so distance is not very far.
