I don't like to give negative comments, this would be a first for me in all the hotels I've stayed at. I've been in hk for 4 times, this is the worst experience I had. 1st day, the front desk lady was really cold and not accommodating. I asked why the room description doesn't say it's overlooking a cemetery, she...

Rooms are small, as they are in most Hong Kong hotels. But they are well appointed, with good bathrooms, lots of TV channels and a comfortable bed. Location is good for Causeway Bay, which is 10 minutes walk away. Same for Wanchai, which is 15 minutes walk away. There's a bar in the next building, the Cosmo Hotel. Don't believe...

Check-in around 6pm, and the front desk merely greeted me with a "Yes?". No hello, no good evening, no smile. Room was small. We took a triple, and there nary a room to move. Bathroom was tiny. Location was not the best, but there's a bus-stop a short distance away. Shuttle was convenient, but one has to go down early...

This hotel is a gem, and offers value for money it would be hard to beat on the island. When I arrived my luggage was delayed in transit and the staff could not have been more helpful (particularly Agnes Yau) and offered help with toiletries, etc, until my own arrived during the night. The room was relatively small (partly because...

Not a 4 star hotel, more like a 3 star hotel. The hallways were exceptionally dirty. The rooms weren't as bad as the hallway, but they weren't great either. I am of average height, but the bed was really short, so my feet hung off the end. That has never happened to me. The elevators were small and cramped. But...

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your inquiry. Actually apart from our standard and superior rooms that are equipped with frosted window as a modern design touch, all other room types, starting from premier rooms, come with great city view of Causeway Bay or the view of Happy Valley racecourse. Hi Puteriana, yes the Islamic canteen is actually very close to the hotel with only 5-10 mins walking distance. For MTR subway, the nearest one is the Causeway Bay Station Exit A (Times Square) followed by an 8-min walk to reach the hotel. Thanks.

There is a shuttle bus in the airport going to the hotel, interval is about an hour. If you are in a hurry, can take taxi otherwise can wait for the shuttle bus. You can visit also the hotel website for shuttle bus timing. Hope it helps :) enjoy your holiday in HK
