The biggest strength of this hostel is it´s location. It´s really close to Causeway Metro station and really easy to connect with the airport, but the rooms aren´t a big thing and the staff is not friendly at all.

Check in: Poorly managed, key not working. Beds: 3 high stack. Rooms: Smell like someone had wiped their bum with an old sock. Staff: some OK, some useless. Bathrooms: Dirty. Hallways: look like a crack den. Don't stay here, even if your life depends on it... you'll be very disappointed.

I completely loved my stay here. The place was super clean and the bed was comfy. hot water 24/7. The whole building except for the ground floor was for the hostel only so it feels like an apt in the middle of the city. You have this really nice rooftop lounge where you can chill and socialize with people. You...

Been staying here last October till November with my friend. Got lil bit confused with the subway since there is 2 exit and the easy way to go to the hostel is from exit 4. Very cool people around the hostel and near to the shopping center as well.

This place was very clean. Hot water 24/7. Bathroom was clean, shower, sink, toilet worked. Each bunk had a curtain, a nite light and plugs for charging phone. The common area had comfortable chairs and sofas. The best part was the very friendly staff - especially Deepa. My flight was late and I didn't get in until 3:00 am. Deepa...

Just a few minute walk from an MTR made Yesinn convenient. My friend and I stayed in a 9 bed dorm. Yes, it was a little loud and a little humid. But that's Hong Kong. Our room had one attached full bathroom which was nearly always clean and stocked. Each bed had two outlets and a curtain for privacy. I...

This hostel was great! The staff was very friendly, the dorms and bathrooms/showers were clean and the common area was very inviting. I stayed here for two nights with a friend before heading to Vietnam. I was pleasantly surprised at my overall experience. If you're looking for a hostel in a great location while visiting Hong Kong, I recommend this...

I stayed here for 4 nights. The location really can't be beat. It is super close to the MTR station so you can access the city very easily. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful (The girl from India was a sweetheart), while others less so. I accidentally locked my key card in my locker one day, which was...

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
