Booked this for 3 nights at the end of a holiday through USA and Europe. My sister had stayed here before and enjoyed it. The location in Kowloon is almost perfect right next door to the Peninsula hotel. It is close to the ferry terminal and the MTR station. Room was large and had a good sized bathroom. Air conditioning...

The room was clean and well taken care of. The location was excellent. The amenities in the room were beyond what was expected. Nice fruit basket when we arrived and free news paper (English) I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed one nite earler this month. Great location, next to Peninsula and Hilton at less than half the price ! Amazing views of the harbour from 4th floor restaurant. paid HK1000 for a Suite, including lounge with sofas and another TV. What a wonderful place this is, we couldn't fault it. Not a lot to add to the other glowing reports except to agree with them.

We stayed in the family suite which was a big 1 bedroom corner apartment. It also had a separate study area where we put a rollaway bed, the lounge had a double sofa bed. The room was modern and very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I rang reception for an iron and a universal plug which housekeeping brought...

Few tips: - very good hotel even if the rooms are a bit dated - get a room with a view, the price you'll pay is nothing compaired with the view - get a room at a higher floor, ours was as the 15th floor, PERFECT - the breakfast is ok, even for the 77 HKD we paid

The YMCA has a superb location allowing you easy access to all that Hong Kong has to offer. We preferred staying on the Kowloon side, as you benefit from the great views across the harbour and with the Star ferry so close you can easily get across to the island. If you don't want to pay for the hotel breakfast,...

The hotel is out of this worldprice its price range. And, yes, I call it a hotel for I've had far shabbier treatment at hotels both in HK and other countries for far higher prices. Why do I say this? Let me count the ways: 1. Transport from airport to the YMCA Salisbury is easily obtainable at arrival and costs...

When friends recommended the “Y” to us, we were honestly a little sceptical about staying. We could not have been more surprised. The room was not over the top, but was well maintained and the bed & linens were of exceptional quality offering a great night’s sleep. We opted for the harbour view and it certainly had the WOW factor!...

Great place to stay. If you can afford it, the harbour view rooms are lovely! Also worth getting the breakfast deal as part of your package - the buffet breakfast is fine. Extremely central - walk, take the ferry or metro anywhere. Lovely places to eat in easy walking distance (Hullet House restaurants, Hutong, huge number of local choices).
