My room had been recently renovated and was stylish, clean and extremely comfortable. A Smart phone was available in the room and to take out with you throughout you in order to have constant wifi pairing/access, make free calls etc wherever you are...really great! Service was exceptional and food beautiful if a little expensive, but probably in line with similar...

If you want a little splurge while in HK this is a gorgeous and lush Art Deco style hotel, even if you just go for a drink. Our room was beautiful and clean with a lovely harbor view - do be aware that there is ongoing construction. That being said, we had a wonderful stay. The room had all the...

The Grand Hyatt Hong Kong is a great place but its location is not so great, very near there are road works that last for years already. The hotel itself is very old and around it, there is nothing reachable by walking. Because of the works, it is then noisy and a little dusty. The swimming pool is great and...

The hotel ticks all the boxes I have for a good hotel. Location wise this is situated on the happening part of Hong Kong - Wan Chai. The ferrying to other parts of Hong Kong is only a distance away. The rooms are superb and I got a free 'Handy' phone that I could take along with me while roaming...

As a frequent stayer it could be easy to be jaded but not here - every stay is another delightful experience. Credit to Philip Yu and his team of high functioning Managers. I had the pleasure to meet Gaetano Trovato - 2 Michelin Star Guest chef - what an honour and a memorable meal. The staff even took a photo...

Excellent quality of service and venue, Location: close to convenient to downtown via 3 minute taxi ride although I walked to the office to meetings on most days. Safe, clean and great room service menu 24/7.

My wife and I just stayed at the Grand Hyatt for a night during a stopover for a couple of days. Our Grand Deluxe Harbor room was really nice and modern. While the views across the harbor were splendid, there's a tonne of construction all around that spoils the view. The smart phone in the room with free international calls...

This hotel is one of the best place to stay in Hong Kong! I visit HK at least once a year and this is my first time staying at Grand Hyatt. This hotel has it all from luxury/elegant to convenience/comfort. I suggest everyone to book a harbourview suite because the view showcasing Kowloon/Harbour is absolutely magnificent . The entire staff...

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
