Located in Jordan along the vibrant Nathan Road, a few minutes’ walk from Jordan MTR Station, Eaton HK features a newly designed lobby and guest rooms, rooftop swimming pool and yoga studio, gym and juice bar, co working club, large event spaces, screening room, art gallery, radio station, and a host of restaurants and bars including a Michelin-starred Cantonese restaurant, an all-day dining floor, an open terrace cocktail bar, and a signature Food Hall. The hotel design references the romantic appeal and spiritual yearning of Wong Kar-wai’s arthouse films of the 1990s. More than a hotel, Eaton HK is an incubator for arts and culture, a beacon for sustainability, a hub for impact initiatives, and a local connection to a global media platform. Eaton HK is the physical arm of Eaton Workshop, a global mission-driven hospitality built to uplift the human spirit as we collectively pursue a better world for people and planet. With distinct parts—Hotel, House, Media, Wellness, and Impact—Eaton is not only a place for travellers to lay their heads, it’s also a place to experience belonging, creativity, and community.

Our family of two adults, a 9 year old and a 6 year old stayed here for 7 nights in February during the Chinese New Year holidays. We had 3 nights here before moving to HK Disneyland for 3 nights (see my separate review) before returning to the Eaton for 4 nights. We chose the Eaton having stayed here before without kids and really enjoyed their clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. Now visiting Hong Kong with our young family, we were delighted to choose their family room which is like 2 rooms in 1 - it has a separate area for the kids much like we are used to in the UK. The 'kids area' has bunk beds which are ideal for our age of kids and they also enjoyed the sofa and TV of their own to watch. The adults had our own sleeping area with a king sized bed, TV and a door we could close so not to disturb the kids when they went to bed early. Our first room was 924 then our second room was directly above it (1024) with exactly the same layout. Our room looked on to the busy Nathan Road below us but was so quiet. Beds have a firm mattress like most hotels in HK and the room is modernly furnished. The shower in 924 is great and good water pressure but 1024 not so good and the water took longer to drain. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom and a safe in the wardrobe. The room has a kettle for tea and coffee plus complimentary water provided whenever you have housekeeping. The small fridge is great to have in the room too. Space is a premium in Hong Kong so don't expect lots of storage space but we managed fine using the hanging space and small drawers in the wardrobe plus side cupboards next to the bed. Air conditioning is a must in HK (though the AC unit in 1024 seems noisier than 924). The rooms have air purifiers too. You'll find English TV channels and kids programmes on HBO Family. Location of the hotel in Jordan is ideal for us. We visited relatives in the New Territories via MTR or Uber with each trip around 20 minutes or so away. We walked down Nathan Road to TST for sightseeing and meals as well as catching the Star Ferry over to HK island (see my separate reviews). Jordan MTR station is only a block away (exit B1 for the hotel). There is no longer a shared airport shuttle bus service which used to service the Eaton and other hotels. So we opted for a private car transfer arranged by the hotel. On arrival at HK airport, a driver greeted us at the limousine meeting point in the arrivals hall and helped us with our bags and we went to the limousine waiting lounge on the ground floor where they provide free bottles of water. Once the driver returned with his MPV, they loaded our luggage and we enjoyed a comfortable 35 minute journey to the hotel. On arrival, the concierge took our luggage which is then delivered to our room. Whilst cheaper airport transfers are available, I think this was good value for money when travelling with young kids and lots of luggage. Return journey was just as smooth though more expensive as we departed HK on a weekend. We split our 7 nights at the Eaton in two visits as we went to HK Disneyland for 3 nights in the middle our holiday (see my separate review). I booked via email and the hotel had no problems with us going away and coming back. They have a luggage storage facility so they kept the suitcases we didn't need at Disneyland and we collected these when we checked in after returning from Disneyland. We were room only on this occasion as there's so many food options near by (see my separate reviews). There is a food court at basement level of the hotel and we tried Flower Years which was good. We bought cereal and milk from the nearby Park N Shop across the road to eat in the room. We used the mini fridge in the room to store our milk and orange juice. Don't miss Red Heart bakery a block away across the road near Temple Street which sells amazing pineapple buns, char sui buns, coconut buns etc. plus delicious egg tarts (dan tat) and Portuguese tarts (po tat). Also, I would highly recommend the Astor restaurant at the hotel for breakfast from my previous visits. If you like dim sum, there is a one star Michelin rated dim sum restaurant here so book it in advance as it's very popular - my relatives who live locally love it. The glass elevators are wonderful for great views of Nathan Road. Don't miss the roof top (heated) pool even if you just go for a look and for photos. We enjoyed our swims on the 21st floor! They have changing rooms and showers there and provide towels. The hotel has kept up its investment and modern decor over the years we have stayed here. The staff are welcoming and efficient (though the reception desk can get chaotic when some guests don't queue properly and barge in front of you so that's something staff could get better at dealing with). From the staff at reception, the Wellness centre staff at the pool, to the concierge (who will help with luggage, hail taxis for you and manage the elevators on the ground floor), everyone speaks multiple languages and are very helpful. Finally, as it was Chinese New Year when we stayed here, we were delighted to watch a traditional lion dance at the hotel. The main performance was advertised throughout the hotel. We joined the main celebration at ground / street level which was amazing to watch and hear. Then the lion appeared at the pool whilst we were having a peek at the facilities, and then the food court too when we were having lunch, so we got lots of unique videos and photos. The staff even invited us to take a photo with their lion and paused the lion's progress through the hotel just for us! Thank you to the hotel for inviting guests to the lion dance - it added to our experience and helped us mark this special occasion. It was also lovely to see hotel staff get to watch and participate in the performance and you can tell the hotel management look after the staff by helping them mark this special occasion as they continue to work hard and turn up for work on this public holiday. Well done Eaton! Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel for its quality at this price range, location, facilities, customer service and value for money. Enjoy!

Hotel's Favourite
The Eaton staff are extraordinally. They are positive, energetic and of course, friendly. They are much much better than many 5-star hotels staff. The location may not be the most convenient, but it is just a 5-min walk from the MTR. Lots of food around. The breakfast buffet is incomparable.

To be greeted by the Eaton reception is a pleasure, the efficiency and customer care was exceptional, nothing was too much as we had additional requests on arrival. The room catered for us as expected with nothing lacking, and everything working (unlike the last hotel we stayed in, in HK and the reason we moved after a couple of days). The Eaton is perfectly placed for MTR and busses, so a perfect location for anyone visiting Hong Kong. As a recommendation, we stayed two times (4 nights on each) this visit to Hong Kong, and will certainly be staying here on our next visit, well done Eaton

This was my first time staying at Eaton HK. They are running a promotion with great rate. I took A21 airport bus stop at 3 minute walk to the hotel. The hotel is located between Jordan and Yau Ma Tei subway stations. It is about 5-10 minutes to both stations. There is a 7-11 convenient store right across the hotel. I was greeted by Marco at reception. He was smart, friendly and took care of my luggage storage quickly because I arrived around 10am. There is a hidden storage location right next to the reception desk. I felt safe to store my luggage there. After check in later that day, I stayed at room 1919 (no street noise from busy Nathan street and Friday party noise on 4th floor bar. The room has a good size (comparing in HK room size standard). Even cleaning lady greeted me in the morning on the hallway. I am impressed. During my stay, I had wifi issue (connected to wifi and could not reach internet). After report to front desk, technical staff called back 20 minutes later and told me that they fixed the issue. The hotel has a gym on 21 floor open 24 hours. There is a good range of fitness equipment available. There is a food court in the hotel with 10+ food stalls. The food price is reasonable. The hotel has award winning buffet restaurant, The Astor. I tried to book dinner buffet 5 days in advance but put on waiting list. Eventually, there was no opportunity to try the buffets. In conclusion, I recommend this hotel and will revisit in my future trips.

We had the best time in HK. I forgot the name of the guy from the lobby but he was so nice and helpful. We loved the place so much that we felt really sad when we had to leave. The location is perfect too. Will definitely rebook in the future. I love you Eaton HK!

The hotel locates in a very convenient location - just few minutes walk from the Exit B of Jordan MTR station. It is near to Temple Street. I stayed for nearly a month. If you are planning for a long stay, make sure you ask for a long stay package. Within the hotel, there exists a food hall with a good selection of what to eat, at a price comparable to what you can find outside the hotel.

Wife and I stayed here for 5 days in early January 2024 and absolutely loved the convenience, amenities, friendly staff, and value of the Eaton hotel. The room we stayed at (1021) on the 10th floor was quiet (no traffic noise from Nathan Road below and spacious (for Hong Kong) with thoughtful amenities, including electric water kettle to boil water, shampoo/shower gel, toothbrushes, hair dryer, instant coffee, slippers, large glass bottle of water refilled for free each day, etc. While there are convenient electrical outlets above the small desk, there are no USB plugs, so bring your own. The A21 (day)/N21 (night) airport bus stops within a block of the hotel. Also about a couple of minutes walking distance to the Jordan MTR subway station. Cross Nathan Road and on the parallel street (Woosung) behind Nathan, there is a Sunshine 24-hour self-service laundromat that accepts the Octopus card for payment. Detergent and fabric softener are automatically dispensed for the price paid, so no need to bring your own. Less than a 5-minute walk from the hotel is the famous Temple Street, where we loved the claypot rice at Hing Kee, the dai pai dong street food at Wing Fat, and delicious Chinese desserts at Kai Kai Desserts, all within minutes of each other.

Stayed here for 4 days 3 night in Room 1223. Although there was no scenic view, I didn’t mind as I was out most of the time. Most important was that everything was clean. Absolutely no smell in the room and toilet (no bath tub). The pillows were not comfy though, but I’m not too fussy. Housekeeping was reasonably responsive. It’s small and cost for a si for traveler. I would return to stay here.
