Been there for work. The room was small but clean. Nice view though. wifi was ok. Breakfast: could have been better. I would stay there again. Very good location: 30sec from the escalators (mid level)

Bishop Lei International House is a good place and quite decent for the price and location. It is Hong Kong and giant rooms with amazing views will come with a price. So will inexpensive places. Bishop Lei is nice enough, clean enough. Yes the rooms are on the small side but if you take a double bed room as a...

I stayed in a single room for a night and found that the room reek of cigarette/smoke, which was awful. That alone completely marred my stay. Having said that, the room itself is clean. It is also small, but this is Hong Kong so it was within expectations. I appreciated the free shuttle which drops off at a few central...

Located in a residential area, the hotel is away from Hong Kong's noise, yet within walking distance to the Central , Soho and Alberdeen areas via the mid level escalator. We pay about 130 USD/ night for a standard room, breakfast not included. The room is tiny, even with only 2 carry on luggages, you barely have any space left...

I have stayed at the hotel annually, for a week at a time, for the past several years. This is a modest hotel situated above the hubbub of Hong Kong island. The guests are usually families, middle-aged church going people, Indian IT wallahs and other business types on a budget. In short the sort of civilised person you would like...

Quite a mixture of reviews on here, however I have to say that my husband & I had a fantastic 3 nights / 4 days at the Bishop Lei. Fantastic location, quiet but not far from loads of bars & restaurants. Easy to find, not far from the escalators. Botanical gardens are nearby & worth a wander around. We went...

Stayed at the Bishop Lei for one night on business. This is a reasonably tall but narrow hotel in an out-of-the way location. Reception was small and fairly spartan. Reception staff were courteous and welcoming. My room, on the third floor, was very small with a single bed. It was very clean and well-kept, but with absolutely no frills. Free...

We booked "Bishop Lei" for 2 reasons; Price and Location, and were not dissappointed on eiter account. From Tripadvisor reviews we were warned rooms were small - or should we say tiny. This turned out to be true.!! We stayed in a Grand Suite which has a tiny bedroom (with no door) and a small sitting room with no coffeetable,...

The only two reasons to recommend this hotel are the cheap room rates (often the lowest in Central offered by booking websites) and its location (in the heart of Midlevels). Other than that, rooms are old and tiny. The service is average/below average.

we stayed here for 2 nights, it was a bit more expensive as the nights we were staying were week nights and prices. The location was good and easy to get into central using buses or taxis. Rooms are small though, but its hard to get a large room in HK. Would recommend booking accommodation in advance as prices do...
