The hotel entrance door was opened and closed by the staff. There were a lot of tourists from mainland China and it seemed like they were having some trouble checking in, so we had to wait a little, but my daughter, who was traveling abroad for the first time, was very happy, so I would like to use it again if I go to Hong Kong again.

Breakfast at the hotel starts at 7am. There are many restaurants nearby, as well as convenience stores and supermarkets, so there are many options.
ATMs and currency exchange were located within a few minutes walk, making it very convenient.
Also, it was close to the departure point for the night scenic light tour, which was convenient for me as I was unfamiliar with the city of Hong Kong.
Check-in was close to midnight, but it went smoothly.
I was able to book a taxi for 7am in time for checkout.

In the past, I often wondered whether to stay at Kimberley or here lol
It's located behind the Peninsula, diagonally across from Salisbury.
There is a backstreet route that goes directly to the station, so it's very convenient if you use the MTR.
On the way out to the station, there is a very popular Japanese izakaya, so it's no problem if you miss Japanese food. It's quite delicious.
Depending on the room... it may be so compact that you have to open your suitcase on a glass desk.
There is almost no waiting time for the elevator.
The only disappointment was... there were a lot of Chinese guests during the Chinese New Year, and even though I came around 2pm, there was an hour-long queue to check in...

Breakfast is horrible! Pancakes taste like fish, croassans/ danish are old, fried egg was raw, I can continue…I mean.. if they can’t even fry a egg you can figure. We request one glass of milk to mix with coffe and the staff didn’t want to give us!! We pay for 3 days breakfast but other 2 days we went outside..
The service is not very friendly / not wiling to help. We ask help to call taxi and explain the address to the driver, the staff only call taxi and told driver the general location but not help to explain address and we end up far away from real destination. We ask for 2 separated beds, but beds are 3 cm apart, it is too close so basically beds are not separated! The bathroom door is a glass door, so if you are looking to share room with a friend look for another hotel so you can have at lease some privacy using toilet! I do not recomend this hotel, there are much better options in HK!
But, overall, our experience was extremely disappointing. We booked a "Superior Room - Queen Bed," but the bed was only 120 cm wide, not the standard 140 cm or 160 cm expected for a queen bed. Queen beds are typically 160 cm wide. While we understand the space constraints in Hong Kong, we paid for a four-star hotel with a queen bedroom, not a cage room. We had reserved the room for two adults and a toddler, but no one informed us that the bed would not be large enough.
Additionally, the bathroom was quite dirty and poorly maintained for a four-star hotel. The shower had functionality issues, the toilet seat was stained, and the water did not flush properly. The room was so small that there were no storage spaces, but fortunately, the bed was elevated, allowing us to store our suitcase underneath and use it as a makeshift dresser, sliding it in and out like a drawer.
We opted not to pay extra for an ocean-view room, knowing that such a view is blocked by the Peninsula Hotel across the street. However, our view was even worse, overlooking a noisy technical area filled with ventilation equipment.
Overall, our stay at The Kowloon Hotel was far from satisfactory

When my husband made the Reservation, he told me that it was a commemorative trip, so there was an exchange: 'I'll give you a cake from the hotel, what time should I bring it?' and 'I'll take it today at around 21:00.'
The assigned rooms seemed to be under construction right next to each other, and the sounds were reverberating. We returned to the hotel around 18:30 in the evening and still heard noises, so we had our room changed.
So I was thinking that maybe the cake was forgotten, and then around 23:00 the phone rang, asking if I could take it now, my husband told me it would be good tomorrow, but a few minutes later it rang, and the hotel staff with the cut cake … did anyone eat cake at this hour? I told him I wanted him to do it tomorrow, but he said no and I was wondering if I could eat it tomorrow. Don't worry. I received it with the feeling that it was forced on me like this. The plate had the words Happy Anniversary on it, but the plate was missing an edge. I feel mocked for wanting to just give it away without thinking about the other person, and I have no qualms about serving a missing plate to a guest at a hotel. No one thinks anything of the person who put the cake on the plate, who wrote it, who brought it to us. I'm not angry. I think he'll probably stay here next time. I think it will be a better hotel if we improve on these points.
You can go directly to the station from inside the hotel and get on the train without getting wet in the rain.
The front desk can speak Japanese, which is very appreciated.
The room was very clean and nice.
There was a refrigerator and a safe, and the explanations were in Japanese, so it was very easy to understand.
This time I had a double bed, but there were outlets on both sides of the pillow, which was easy to use.

My husband, daughter and I went to the Kowloon Hotel Restaurant for a buffet lunch on February 7 this year. When we came to Japan that day, our plan was to have a meal at Victoria Peak. Since it was raining and we had our young daughter with us, my husband suggested having a buffet nearby in Tsim Sha Tsui. Since he was pressed for time, he randomly found a buffet at Kowloon Hotel at KKday and left a message on remark that it was our ninth wedding anniversary and he hoped to have a dessert plate with blessings written on it.
It was my first time to visit the Kowloon Hotel. When I arrived at the restaurant that day, my youngest daughter and I were carrying food. The staff greeted us politely and reminded the children to be careful, which made us feel very warm. These may seem trivial, but in the Today's catering service is really a sincere attitude towards guests.
I would like to especially commend Lydia, a staff member in black uniform. She sent us a dessert plate with blessings written on it. She was very particular and careful in taking many photos. She was also very polite and would laugh and chat with us, even though it was just a small talk. A few words, but these actions left a deep impression on us and gave us a happy celebration.
There was also a staff member in the seafood department. At that time, my little daughter wanted to eat crab sushi, but she didn’t see the sushi department staff. She took the initiative to ask us, knowing that there was no crab sushi outside, she didn’t just say there was no crab sushi, but she would go into the kitchen. See if there are any more, these are all the things that make me feel the enthusiasm of the employees towards the customers.
The catering service industry is often complained about and rarely praised, so I specially praise the hotel restaurant, hoping that they will know that their sincerity to customers is what we will see and feel, the food and service of Yichuangge The quality is very good, our family will definitely come back!

They are very reluctant to provide bottles of drinking water so be prepared that you have to get your own supplies.
If you’re planning to order deliveries, good luck, the longest i have waited for my delivery (from my food being dropped off at the hotel to being delivered to my room.) is 45 mins, and i called to chase twice.
Also hard liquor is not allowed and they will check whatever your friends are sending you.
Bring your own shampoo as you can’t foam with the Shampoo they provided.
