Good location. Close to bars, clubs and restaurants. Short walk to Wan Chai markets. Nice rooms with comfortable bed. Didn't like how they stored peoples luggage out in the foyer and driveway even though was chained together. Crabtree and Evelyn bath products.

When I went to Hong Kong for the first time a few years back, someone booked me into this hotel and I liked it, mainly because of the location, in the middle of buzzing Wan Chai, close to the MTR and in walking distance from many of my destinations. In spite of declining quality, mainly of the rooms, I have...

Unpleasant incident! A guest tried to break in our room through the adjoining door. Called the front desk. The security was sent. After checking, it was a drunk guest. The duty manager took the incident very lightly and provided no solution, only to say that the drunk guest will check out tomorrow. We had to provide solution and request for...

Location wise and due to recent renovation one of the better choices on HongKong island. Used to go there frequently. Unfortunately they changed reservation conditions. Now even in low times almost all is non refundable 100% prepaid and on top the discount offers exclude the until now standard free wifi. If you can call any of the offers a discount...

4.5/5 for Cleanliness. Toilet and beds were clean. No visible signs of dirt with the naked eye. 4.5/5 for Location. 5 mins walk to Wan Chai Station which is just a stop away from The Central interchange. Located around many decent pubs so you don't have to go to Lan Kwai Fong for drinks. 3/5 for Service. Front desk personnel...

We booked this hotel in advance through Agoda.com. It is located at the Wanchai area, very near the A11 (HKD 40 to/from the airport) bus stop and near Exit C of the MTR station. The hotel room (twin) was good for our family of four; had a private bath with a tub, which the kids enjoyed. The room is bigger...

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
