The location is about 7-8 minutes from the MTR Causeway Bay station. However, if you have a suitcase or large luggage, it may be a little difficult to get to the hotel because you have to cross a footbridge, although there is an elevator to the hotel.
If you take the airport bus from the airport, it takes 7-8 minutes from the bus stop to the hotel, just like the MTR, but the bus stop for the return trip to the airport is different from the one you arrived at. There are two nearest bus stops, but both are a little over 15 minutes walk away from the hotel.
The closest stop to the hotel is the tram stop.
The room is not large, but not small either. My room only had a shower, but the water pressure in the shower was strong and the hot water was plenty.
There are convenience stores, McDonald's, local restaurants, etc. nearby, so it is not inconvenient.
The breakfast variety is not very extensive, but it is complete.
If you are looking for a hotel in Causeway Bay, I recommend this hotel as it is a good value for money in Hong Kong, where accommodation costs are high.

The front desk staff members were very nice and helpful. It was a smooth check in process and the checkout process was good as well. The room was very clean. The hotel provided bamboo toothbrushes and plastic free toothpaste. There was a Starbucks not far from the hotel. Besides Starbucks, not far from the hotel was a Pizza Hut, 7-Eleven, an Indonesian marketplace and a couple of Chinese restaurants.

I recently stayed at the Rosedale Hotel Hong Kong, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. Our room on the 30th floor offered stunning views of the bay, which was definitely a highlight of our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, making it a great place to unwind after a day of exploring.
The hotel’s location is another major plus—it’s conveniently situated near the MTR station and several malls, making it easy to get around and access shops, restaurants, and attractions.
However, the breakfast left a bit to be desired. While the food was decent, the selection was quite limited, and the menu didn’t change during our stay, which made it repetitive.
Despite the minor breakfast issue, the combination of the great location, comfortable accommodations, and amazing views makes Rosedale Hotel a solid choice for travelers visiting Hong Kong. I would recommend it, especially for those prioritizing convenience and a good view.

First of all the bedding is clean but in my two week stay my room was not cleaned once, this was despite it being advertised as once per week. Clean towels have to be asked for and frequently have holes in them. Beds are hard, carpets stained and furniture ripped. Smells drift from room to room and there is a pervading unpleasant odour. Standards are very low, spend your money on another establishment!

Room are clean with part of victoria harbour view. Aside from the Excellent location, it’s very convenient to take buses, trams or MTR from hotel to another places. Concierge and front desk are helpful. The only problem was that the hotel was quite fully booked in October, so we needed time to wait for the lifts.

We smelled smoking in the hallway on our way to our room. Room design was overall average. It was not too worn out. There is a smart tv in the room for guests to watch Netflix, Youtube, etc. In the beginning the bathtub drain stopper was broken and we had to call Housekeeping to fix it first then my girlfriend can take a bath. The shower head was leaking water, therefore the pressure from the water was weak. Service wise was not fairly a good experience I can remember to label the hotel as great considering it is known for good hospitality within the 4 star hotels group. We requested for late check out to 12:00 and they only offer us to 11:30. Perhaps we booked not too expensive rate compared to their previous higher rates, which could be a reason. Judging by the situation I am quite sure they could have offered it. Moreover, we were disturbed by Housekeeping at 11:00 on our departure day to remind us our check out time was at 11:00 when the front desk staff already confirmed the day before and as courtesy gave us 11:30 late check out time. We requested for more bottle of water and it did not arrived during the night. Lastly, we have forgotten a brand new unopened cheese wheel in the fridge when we checked out and after a hour we returned to the hotel to inform the front desk staff about it we were instructed to enter the room ourselves to see if it is still there. To our surprise the room was vacant and cleaned and the cheese was gone. Afterwards, we approached a housekeeping staff on that floor and she told us she has disposed it. It was kind of shocking to us. Shouldn't hotels usually keep any lost and found items for a limited time, especially if the item does not seem to be rubbish and they will try to contact the guest first if they will return to collect it before disposing?

I wasn’t able to use the shower on my entire stay-Hotel said that they will fix it but after a long day out, this was not done.
None of the staff that works on the floors speak English
Breakfast was terrible; you will have the same breakfast everyday-plus they will get a holding deposit which I find very surprising as I haven’t had that experience for years.
Recently travelled to Iceland and none of that was needed
Overall just terrible

The service from Concierge, Reception, Housekeeping and Breakfast staff were exceptional, helpful, courteous and magnificent. Our Executive Room was on 30th floor with fantastic outlook of Victoria Park and Central Library plus a bit of Harbour view, despite the room was a little smaller. The location was perfect and convenient. Stone throw from many bus routes at The Central Library, tram stop right outside the hotel, Causeway Bay MTR was only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Plenty of eateries around the Jardine Bazaar and Sogo Department Store area. Price was reasonable. Previous stay was in an Executive Suite which was far bigger in size, unfortunately, it was sold out this time. Well recommended for any visitors to Hong Kong looking for a decent, friendly, convenient and value for money accommodation in Causeway Bay.

Lift is not working and have to wait for 20-30mins for lift as only 1 lift is working on 8 July.
The air conditioning is very noisy at night so advise one to check on air conditioning when check in.
Room make up is very slow and non responsive. Called up front desk to make up at 9am but room is not make up when back in the afternoon.
So advise one to call the front desk 2 times to confirm as housekeeping will not pick up calls and refer to front desk.
Very bad experience overall.

We stayed at this hotel for 9 nights in October 2024 in a deluxe suite. Pros - good value for your money, great location with easy access to buses and MTR. Cons- dirty, outdated furniture. The sink had mold and mildew and the towels were super thin and some even had holes. The blanket was super thin and I had to get another one - the cleaning woman I saw was not responsive to my request so after 30 minutes I called the front desk to get a blanket. There was a moldy smell in the hallway. and the carpet was very dirty. Our room was not ready even though it was 3pm and check in was 2pm (we were super exhausted from our trans-pacific flight).

After you get off the Airport Link, there's a free airport express shuttle to the Rosedale hotel. It's the H3 line. It stops at several hotels and one of them is Rosedale. The shuttle will display the hotel name of the stops to alert you when to get off. It drops you off on Tung Lo Wan street, in front of Starbucks, just walk thru the alley to Shelter street where the hotel is. If possible, ask for a room facing the hill to get a better view.
There are more places to choose from in the Hong Kong area.
