Chung King mansion is a shock when you visit it for the first time, especially in hours of darkness and when it is raining. We queued for quite a while to get to the 17th floor only to find out, that there is only the reception. The room was in a different entrance area. If you travel in a group...

So, you want a cheap hotel in one of the most expensive cities in the world, brace yourself, or shell out some more cash. Firstly, location, (Chungking Mansions) is very handily at the top of Nathan road, near the star ferry and Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station. The downside is its a grubby place built in the 60's that really...

I spend 4 days there, and had the worst stay conditions ever! Rooms are so small, but also dirty: bed sheets and pillow cover not really washed (greasy pillow case, I had to sleep on my towel), cockroaches on the floor! No windows, only a small vasistas, and staff is intrusive, with staff requesting me for cigarettes and bank notes,...

We went to HK on a busy weekend that's why most of the affordable but good rooms were already sold out. Me and my friend ended up staying here for 3 days. We paid 70$ per night. We thought it was expensive for the type of room. It is located at Chungking Mansion. To say that the building is noisy and...

Huge building/plaza with loads of run down shops selling knock off stuff, men constantly hassle you to buy food or tailored suits! Theres so many blocks with hostels on...

Nagaland / New Angel Guest House is the same place as well as other names they use. The room we booked is nothing like the pictures, it was a double bed built on a man made frame, the mattress was just foam, and the pillows were like bricks. The bathroom, was a third of a meter by a meter. You...

I stayed in this hostel because I was going to watch the match of my favorite football club in the world. I stayed for a couple of nights. The location was pretty convenient going to and from every shopping and tourist destinations in HK, and in my case, I just hopped on the train to go to HK Stadium. The...

The instructions to reach this guest house direct you to a busy shopping market... Once finding your way to he block D lift you queue as there is one small lift (the alternative stairs are dark, singer and dirty) and go to floor 16 and walk a further flight of stairs to the office on floor 17.... From here you...

I am writing this specifically because the manager/employees thought I had written a prior review but had not. Simply stated, you will not find a better place to stay for such a price. The rooms are very, very clean, the rooms I have stayed in have had showers and bathrooms in the room, strong air conditioning, tv with remotes, and...
