I have been to HK four times and stayed in five hostel. This is the cheapest and the worst. The dorms are cramped. Only 3 lockers for 4 guests per dorm. Only ONE combined toilet (no tissue) and shower (cold) for all dorms. If occupied you have to wait. No place to socialise, no atmosphere. On the plus side: Wifi is...

It was our first time in HK and we booked Delta Deluxe Hotel based on the blogs we read by other Pinoys. VALUE FOR MONEY - it was very affordable. IT IS SMALL. Not advisable for tall people. Not bad for us who would just want to have a place to stay and rest at night since most of the...

My daughter stayed here recently. She was supposed to stay four nights but after one night begged me to find her someplace else to stay. She is a pretty seasoned international traveler, lives in Korea, has stayed in many hostels, and said this was by far the dirtiest, worst place she had ever stayed. She did not feel safe as...

I stayed in a two-bed room with another person. The room was clean, but smaller than promised (we had reserved three beds). Amenities were very sparse, and the pillows were like concrete slabs. My biggest complaint was the elevator situation. The rooms were located on the 8th floor, with the hotel desk on the 16th, so elevator use was pretty...

I stayed at this hostel for 4 nights and it was pretty good value for money. Delta hostel is located at block A and there is only one elevator that stops at that exact floor, nevertheless I never had to wait a long time. I booked a single room (yes it was small, maybe 7s/m) but for a solo traveller...

Friendly and helpful staff, especially Jit in the reception. The room was cleaned every day. Small but decent rooms. Good location but still not too much noise from the street. Good value for money. Wifi worked fine. Minus for the lifts; you always had to wait for a long time and the building is almost falling apart. Not a social...

Terrible hotel/ hostel. Reasons below: 1. Rooms are pretty small and cramped and unclean. 2. In the room I stayed the A/C kept leaking and I woke up to a wet bed in the morning due to the air conditioner. 3. They did not honor my booking made through booking.com. Apparently they did not have availability for a private room...

We wanted a cheap central location in HK to stay and this was it. Right outside the MTR and lots of shops / restaurants nearby and so near the Star Ferry and the Harbour / Promenade so your can go and see the skyline view. Chung King mansion is an experience in itself - this building is well known and...

When you are looking for a place to stay in Chung King Mansion, you have to first get your expectations straight. These are all budget hotels: spaces are really small - usually with a bed or two and just enough space for a luggage or two to be placed upright or underneath the bed; the bed is usually long enough...
