We had a four night stay here in September 2015. Hong Kong is particularly humid. I feel that there were a couple of positives..1. We arrived quite early, i.e 7.45am. We were checked in and only waited till 10.00, definitely a big thank you for that. 2. The staff other than the desk staff, i.e concierge , breakfast man and...

We stayed here for two nights with our 6 month old baby. The room was small but we had booked a small room so it was to be expected. It was mainly bed with some floor space. There was a few places to put our luggage but we travel light. It had a kettle, drinking water, safe and toiletries as...

After reading lots of negative reviews before i arrived i was of course very cautious what is going to happen on my 8 night stay. To sum it up.. Super view, super staff and convenient location. Loved it and will definitely go again on my next trip.

We stayed 2 nights in HK in this Hotel. Close to Times square area for shopping and walking around is cool. Metro station 5 min walk (causeway bay station blue Line). Room was correct but a bit small, I guess this is a regular size in HK. Service vallet is good cause we had to wait for our luggages delivery...

The best thing about this hotel was the American brand name and the bed. The location was kind of confusing as it was on the corner of an alley. So when you come out the front door, you are in the middle of an alley. I stayed on the 26th floor. The rooms are a bit small and tight. There...

Mattress broken... Wifi not working... No taxi service downstairs... Entrance in a back alley... Not very pleasant... Some of the staff absolutely rude... Would not recommend this hotel to anybody... apart from its location. Not a best western standard really... No side lights in the rooms... Rooms really shabby and dark black out curtains... not blacking out light at all....

First of all we had an overnight flight from Bangkok to Hong Kong with a budget airline. Meaning that we didn't catch a lot of sleep when we arrived at the Hotel at 7am (in our booking we stated that we will arrived 8-9am). When we arrived at the front desk we asked if we could check in already. So...

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
