Citadines Harbourview is the renamed 'Chi 138' that was bought over by Citadines. Other than the name, everything seemed pretty much the same to me. So if you would like more info on the property, I suggest you take a look at the reviews for CHI 138 on Trip Advisor.

The views of the harbour from the higher floors are simply breathtaking and is the main selling point of this hotel.

The rooms, as well as the bathrooms are spacious, which is a rear thing to find in HK.

I would like to disagree with that the previous reviewer mentioned regarding the distance to the MTR. There is no need to walk all the way to the Sheung Wan MTR station, as there is a newer MTR station (Sai Ying Pun), located just 5 mins walking from the hotel.

Yes, the hotel is located close to the dry sea food market, but it's a quick train ride away from all the important areas around Central. Though anyone who can't stand the smell of dried sea food, I would suggest taking cab!

Stayed for a week at the apartment. The room is value-for-money given it’s spacious with an unblocked harbour view. It’d be better to stay on higher floors. Otherwise you’d be looking out onto the expressways just outside the apartment. Given that this place is just over a year old, the interior and furnishing are still new and comfortable. What you see in the website is what you get.

Location-wise, it’s not situated near the MTR station. The nearest MTR station, Sheung Wan, can be reached by taking a tram from a tram-stop that’s just round the apartment block. I didn’t try walking but it should probably take at least 20min. Most times I just take the tram to Central (about 10-15min) or a cab to Central (about HKD25-35). Its advisable to have the Chinese-written address ‘cos I did encounter cabdrivers who don’t understand English. Otherwise, there’s a free shuttle service to IFC that operates till 10a.m. on weekdays. Commuting isn’t that much of an issue. However, the...
