Soaring over Victoria Harbour, Rosewood Hong Kong is a new centre of gravity on the Kowloon waterfront; the crown jewel of the Victoria Dockside arts and design district. On passing the gate and traversing the cobblestoned drive, the urban din falls away, revealing lush topiary and a serene forecourt that commands the harbour. A warm welcome heralds a stay of unparalleled comfort and distinctive hospitality.

Rosewood Hong Kong is hailed for delivering a high-quality experience that many guests feel justifies the premium pricing. The hotel's central location garners consistent praise for its proximity to shopping and attractions. Its luxurious amenities, including exceptional suites and impressive food and drink options, are particularly lauded.
Guests have called out the attentive and professional service that contributes to the hotel's warm and inviting atmosphere. While the rooms are celebrated for their comfort and views, some minor critiques have been made regarding room service and bathroom design.

Experience the terrace room type, where you can view the entire Victoria Harbor. The entire space is very spacious and comfortable. The only drawback is that the supplies were not fully prepared on the first day. After communication, very complete supplies were provided on the second day. The room is very clean. Unexpectedly, even the walls and places where dust easily accumulates are clean. The living room also provides a blanket, which can be used to watch TV and movies comfortably when the living room feels cold. The shower room can accommodate two people taking a bath at the same time. One shower head and toiletries per person, super special! The service in the executive lounge on the 40th floor is very good, the food is delicious, and the breakfast is healthy and nutritious. I really enjoy not having to eat in a crowded and noisy restaurant.

I go to Rosewood HK often and there is a very good reason. Not only is the place beautiful and always a good time, the service is an example of detailed training and real passion among the teams that make it all happen daily. Special shout out to Subi of Darkside, Jorge, Ambika, along with team at Bayfare, Manav and team at Chaat, everyone at BluHouse, Luke and team at Holt’s Cafe Theodora at front desk, and so many more for always being so wonderful and welcoming. This place and its people are really deserving of recognition. Oh and also the food and drink are always amazing.

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveller reviews.
I stayed in the Kowloon Mountain View Suite, which offered a delightful surprise with both mountain and sea views. The nearly 100 square meter room was spacious, with ample sofa space and a superior design compared to basic rooms. The suite featured modern amenities, a guest bathroom with a notably shiny mirror, and a comfortable, albeit slightly soft bed.
The only downside was the ventilation system, which struggled with humidity and heat, but improved significantly with air conditioning.
The service was exceptional. Check-in and check-out were conveniently handled in the executive lounge, and staff were attentive, observant, and equally courteous to Mandarin speakers. Housekeeping was diligent, neatly folding clothes and organizing toiletries, even replenishing fruits daily.
The hotel’s food was average; breakfast options were available in both the executive lounge and downstairs restaurant. The highly acclaimed Indian dish, chaat, was good but didn’t quite live up to its hype.
Located in Tsim Sha Tsui along Victoria Harbour, the hotel boasts beautiful scenery and proximity to Harbour City, making it a prime choice for activities in Kowloon. The lounge offers an impressive view and a balcony for outdoor seating.
This stay was significantly better than my first, likely due to the different room type. For those with a budget, I recommend opting for rooms with lounge access or suites. Overall, the hotel’s facilities and service were commendable and come highly recommended.

When we sat down, we felt cordial and courteous. The employee Oscar carefully recommended the dishes and introduced each steak clearly and in place, allowing us to choose the right steak. Even the pairing of red wine was explained accurately, professionally and carefully.
In addition to the good quality of the food, we were also very satisfied with the experience👍.

We spent two nights at the Rosewood Hong Kong in October 2024 and wish we could have stayed longer. Of all the hotels and resorts we have visited for professional and personal travel, this is likely the very best. I think the highest praise I can give is the following: When returning to any city we generally try a new property. In the case of Hong Kong, we would return to the Rosewood.
The property is beautiful, well-maintained, clean and comfortable, with spectacular views. Though on the Kowloon side, the area is very walkable with easy access (taxi, ferry, or train) to all areas of Hong Kong. We splurged for a suite for the two nights and it was actually worth the expense - the largest and most well appointed room we've ever enjoyed, with beautiful views of the water and city, and access to the 40th floor "Manor Club" lounge serving complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening drinks and canapes.
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, even beyond what one might expect of a 5 star brand. Our concierge, Cato, went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed, even providing thoughtful assistance and services we hadn't thought to ask for. She gave us a contact number on arrival and was always available and responsive to any requests or questions we sent.
The chef team preparing the meals in the Manor Club did an excellent job. The food was delicious and well prepared, with a good amount of variety.
I cannot think of any criticism or constructive feedback to share. Thank you again for the wonderful hospitality!

It’s a fabulous dinner experience @The Dining Room, Bluhouse.
We were served by Gavin and Winnie who took care of our table with great attention to detail and consistent cleaning - which kept our table clean and neat during the whole meal and plate service is perfectly executed.
Shoutout to Gavin who always put a smile on his face and explained all the dishes thoroughly, and bilingually.
The last but not least chocolate is just perfect - with the dark chocolate truffle being the most unforgettable one.

This is my second visit. The food is still delicious. The waiters carefully introduce the food and process. They are also very polite and automatically add water. Especially Michael who is in charge of our table.
Everything is exquisite, whether it is savory or dessert, it feels like it is not made randomly! The four types of sandwiches are not too greasy ~ the tomato soup feels very rich when you drink it, and it has the feel of meat sauce and spaghetti sauce!
The dessert cart is part of the check-in! The famous Napoleon really needs to be encore, even if it has been sitting for a while, it is still crispy! The pudding cake is also very silky! My favorite is the afternoon tea that has fruits, such as different berries and strawberries. The chocolate mousse is also very smooth and has a moderate concentration. The other desserts are not too sweet!
Another great experience!

Our sixth stay in Hong Kong and thought we would try the Rosewood.
Booked a peak view king suite for 8 nights. Booked car transfer via hotel. Met at exit of aircraft and escorted to immigration and to car. Smooth and efficient transfer to hotel.
Check in is done at manor club on 40th floor. Manor staff efficient and friendly. Always there to help your needs. Food and drink selection is excellent. No need to eat elsewhere if one wanted due to large selection at breakfast, afternoon tea and evening canapes. Pretty much free flow champagne as well. ( Dellamante brand). We had an issues after the second night with water leak and were moved to the manor floor room and were pretty much taken care of afterwards even more so. We also received a bottle of Perrier Jouet champagne for our anniversary celebration.
Room is very large with great a/c. Very quiet and did not hear much outside or noise from neighbours. Housekeeping excellent and pretty much replaced everything everyday. Manor club guests also receive 2 pieces of laundry or pressing per day. Try try to get room on 40th floor as there is a back elevator from the lobby directly to that floor and the manor club is on the 40th floor.
Ate at Chaat and Henry. See my reviews on those. Were not impressed by those restaurants. Too many other places to eat in Hong Kong to recommend those two. Also purchased the flan, chocolates and pastries from Butterfly Patisserie. They were ok but not impressive. Cannot purchase to room so you must pay when ordering.
Location is excellent with easy walk inside to East TST mrt. K11 musea is connected and ok shopping and eateries.
Best of all was Leo the assistant manager at the Manor club. He totally took care of us and and greeted us by name. Their were two other staff members who were excellent as well but I did not get their names.
Overall excellent stay and our opinion best Hong Kong hotel to stay at and will definitely be back.

The entire dining experience was immaculate and not only to mention the vibe, the service was rendered seamlessly, the sommelier was very attentive and he tried to explain patiently every wine paired with our course. Jorge the Chef, amazed us with his excellent culinary skill! My friend and I enjoyed the food a lot wholeheartedly! Big thumbs up to the serving team as I personally think this is the best birthday dining experience with my friend. I look forward to patronising Henry in near future with my friends at various occasions as good food is hard to come by.

You would need to either book a Club Room or book any suites which also grants club access. However, my clients can receive an upgrade at the time of booking. happy to help if needed.
Hi Victor, Thanks for your message. The view is different. Harbour View Rooms boast expansive water views, spanning Causeway Bay to East Tsim Sha Tsui. And Grand Deluxe Harbour View Rooms boast peerless, 180-degree of Victoria Harbour. Hope this helps. Have a nice day!
