Bottom line for 2 stars: The doors slam shut on their own. Extremely loud. I'm a deep sleeper (sleep through thunderstorms and loud noises in the night), but these doors slamming woke me up every time. I really don't like reviewing places negatively and my standards are not high. (I have stayed in places that cost 10 USD a night...not hostels, real hotels. I've also stayed in 5 star hotels with my wife and kids so I do have perspective and the full range of what the word "hotel" can mean.) HOWEVER, this place is noisy. The location is great, the staff is friendly, the rooms are clean. But it doesn't matter if a person can't stay asleep. For example, my second night staying there I was woken up 4 times by people's doors slamming. The first night I was woken up 3 times, 2 times by doors slamming and one time by a lady's very loud high heels in the tile hallway. There was road noise too, but it's WanChai HK so I kind of expect that. I'm in HK on business and I usually stay at bigger places, but this hotel was so close to where I had meetings and the price was really good. I could hear shower noise, closet noise, and bed noise from the adjacent rooms. My recommendation: If you can sleep with ear plugs in, this place would be fine. If you are traveling with kids, don't even think about staying here. If you can sleep with a very loud sound machine or sound machine app, then you may want to try it for the price. But I slept with a sound machine app on the second and third night and I still woke up. Unfortunately, I booked it for multiple nights and paid upfront so I couldn't move hotels without losing a lot of money, but I was tired for my meetings because of the poor sleep. Also, the beds aren't bad, but they aren't soft. They are more along the lines of what you get at hotels in the Mainland. There is loads of food nearby as it is a good location. Maybe a 10 minute walk to the nearest MTR station so not too bad on that either. Once again, the two stars is for the noise. I would probably give it a 4 or 5 if it hadn't been for such a noisy place.

Hotel were excellent at receiving post (parcels and tickets) in the weeks prior to our arrival and kept everything safe for us. Staff were very accommodating about adding extra beds to rooms for guests. Location was clear despite busy nature of the street and was a perfect walkable distance from the HK stadium for the sevens. I stayed here for 3 nights and was perfectly happy with the cleanliness of the rooms and facilities.

We booked 2 rooms for the 6 of us. I wish I can say I like It and I am not generally critical of condition of hotels. The rooms are smaller than another hotel we rented but considering it is in Hong king It is understandable. Being a relatively new hotel too everything is clean and pretty neat. However on multiple days when we were trying to take an afternoon nap, there was hammering and construction going on right next to our room. I have complained numerous times and what I was told is they have to fix something and It will be done when they get off work at 6pm. Obviously the construction was a hotel construction project, not some neighboring buildings attached. We were exhausted after a long travel from the US and some rest was desperately needed. The hotel lobby is also on the second floor so many times Chinese tourists from China likes to smoke on the ground floor (which is not allowed) and the hotel would never know. The room was also not cleaned everyday unless we asked. We stayed there over 2 weeks and that is a regular thing. We asked, then our rooms get cleaned, only a handful of times was our rooms cleaned when we did not ask. With how much we paid (because of Christmas break) and how everything was, I would choose another place the next time I come back to Hong Kong.

Stayed here for four nights. Comfortable room apart from the pillows. Very affordable considering the location, which is the best thing about this hotel. Causeway Bay subway station is 7 minutes away. Wan Chai station about 10 mins. Times Square is close too. In fact, there’s lots to do within a mile radius. Recommend the Christmas lights on Lee Tung Avenue! Non-smoking room. Cleaned daily. Reception ordered a taxi to the airport on the way back due to an early flight. Deserves its 3.5/5 average. Perfect hotel for a short stay! :)

Clean. Good location, 7 minutes to the closest MTR station. Lots of different cuisines to choose from nearby restaurants. Staff speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Too bad there is no food services in the hotel.

With reasonable price and room space, this will be a good choice u can get in Hong Kong. The hotel is currently under some renovations but it didn’t affect us as we were out in the day time for business. It’s well located at Wanchai, surrounded by restaurants, convenient shops and even laundry shop. Wanchai stn is about 5-10 mins walk no depends on your walking speed.

We stayed here for 5 nights. The location is great and there is a mtr 2 minute walk away. The hotel had no restaurant and there were no complimentary bottles of water left in the room. The hotel was also under going a face lift so it was a bit busy. The rooms were very comfortable however and the bathroom was clean and modern. the wifi was great and we had a decent view from our room. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in wan chai/causeway bay as it is brilliant value for money and very close to everything and everywhere you want/need.

We got the basic room and all it has was a twin bed, small table, small clothing rack, one chair, small fridge, and a big but empty toilet. The towels and bed sheets felt very dirty and looked yellow instead of white. They only provide shampoo and shower gel, toothbrush and shaving kit. No body lotion or anything extra. The wifi is very fast though, was able to load movies and video clips. The location isn't bad, walking distance from the MTR, and a few minibuses go through Lockhart road.

The hotel location is in between 2 MTR stations (Wanchai Station & Causeway Bay Station). So with some short walking, can practically get to anywhere. It is also near enough to walk under cover to the harbour area to take ferry across to Kowloon side. The hotel is rather small and crampy though. It is a convenient place to stay the nights but not a hangout of itself. Basic services. But for convenience & easy moving about, it is great. On a comparative basis, the rates was reasonable. We had a triple room on level 2 facing frontage. So we were OK without feeling closed in.
