Detailed Reviews
Mostly, this is a great hotel. There’s a free shuttle every 30 minutes to and from the airport. On entry to the hotel you are met with a lovely lobby and friendly staff. The rooms are spacious and well kept. The beds are comfortable and provide for an excellent nights sleep. You are also provided with lovely toiletries and bath robes (be warned these are for tiny Asian people. Just okay for me but not if you’re tall or curvy...)
On the downside we had booked this hotel to specifically use the pool and spa facilities. We paid more money to stay here as a result rather than using the hotel adjoining the airport. Unfortunately we were greeted with a card in the room (not advertised at the time or post booking!!!) saying all spa facilities were out of use. Great. Our entire layover plans are ruined. We used the gym for an hour but were left twiddling our thumbs for the next 2 hours before we had to head back to the airport. We would not have booked our stay if we knew the spa was under construction and we certainly would not have paid the amount we did for the room knowing that.
Another point of note, the Chinese restaurant in the hotel is incredibly expensive. £7.60 for a small glass of lemonade!! We also paid £50 for a “whole duck” to share but in reality you’re given just a carving of the breast. Not sure where the rest went but we would have eaten it given the choice! Would not recommend based on these prices.
We feel a little robbed by our booking but enjoyed the room which was comfortable and quiet.

This is a quick note to praise the Marriot for their efficient and welcoming staff. Enjoyed two seperate stays here recently and appreciated the hospitality and tbe high level of cleanliness. Covid-19 is making all travellers hypersensitive to hygiene and this property is responding to the crisis very well . Mr S. Chan was a host at the breakfast buffet this morning and his kindness, finesse and professionalism was greatly appreciated. The buffet and restaurant area was spotless and the food was carefully presented and delicious.Thank you.

Always impressed
A like other hotels near the airport surrounded by airport reconstruction
Well appointed room, comfortable bed no external noise distractions from air craft.
Why is it every hotel you stay in during December and January the pool is closed for maintenance?
Restaurant good value and good choices from the menu.
Left early and missed breakfast
In days of old you could walk to the airport departure area - alas no now but they do provide a free bus that departs every 30 minutes

The hotel itself was nice and the rooms are honestly what you would expect from a Marriott that caters to business and transit clients. We enjoyed the nice bedding as the rest of the trip we stayed in more local hotels which had super hard beds.
The reason I gave this hotel an average instead of Very Good is the price of the food and drinks. They had a big buffet that was also expensive, maybe worth it you eat a LOT or are on an expense account. We opted for an alacarte breakfast of 2 omelettes, coffee and tea and it was $56. Our dinner of a split salad, margarita small pizza and drinks was $103. It is super convenient to the airport but I am glad we only stayed here one night as the food was almost more expensive than the room.

Stayed a the SkyCity Marriott twice, on the way to and from Malaysia.
The hotel is literally 10 minutes from the airport, and the free transfer makes it an easy choice. Check in was awfully slow both times, and if you get caught with airlines staff then you could be waiting a while.
Rooms were nice and clean. Great breakfast with friendly staff and plenty of choice.
We also had dinner at the restaurant a couple of times and had some basic meals at reasonable price.
We also used the hotel as a base to go to Disneyland, the hotel has free transfer bus and we caught it once to go there, but not on the way back because it was too late in the evening for our 3 year old. The second time however we decided we wanted to be at the Disney gates early, so we went by taxi.
Overall we enjoyed the hotel and its location. The convention centre and the trains are literally a 5 minute walk (undercover) from the lobby, so you could make the trip downtown from here, but if you're in HK to see the city i would recommend staying in town.

Hello rewarded Skycity Marriott hotel.
I would like to share my experience staying in your hotel premises. I am very grateful for all the comfort and care I have experienced here due to your hospitality and smiley, caring and polite personnel.
VIEW
First of all I would like to thanks for giving me the room 761, which has the best window view that I have ever seen. Location of your hotel is perfect combination of mountains, sky, river and forest. I have enjoyed sunrise and descending aircrafts. The view is an amazing combination of coziness, nature and progress.
PERSONNEL
Second treasure of your hotel is Your Personnel. Each and everyone whom I faced with and was asking for for help was very professional, friendly and sincerely wagering to help, which made me feel really welcome. Starting with gentlemen who are working next to the entrance of the hotel, doorlady, cleaning department workers, shuttle bus driver, receptionists and manager.
I am especially grateful to gentlemen who are working next to entrance to the hotel and shuttle bus driver for my comfort and their care. To Ms.Kat for detailed discription of places for sightseeing and how can I reach there. To Mr. Summer for his care, readiness to help and efficient work. And also to Mr. Ian for answering my questions and assistance. Your staff is the Pearl of your hotel.
HOSPITALITY
All in room facilities and furniture are clean, well-maintained and functional. Thanks you for the good sound isolation, which allows me sleeping any time during the day in complete silence. Thank you for a beautiful design in room and comfortable bed with cozy pillows and quilt. Thanks to your colleagues from cleaning department for doing their job so professionally and for replenishment of all kits, glasses, towels so on. Thank you for really clean towels and bed items.
Design of your hotel and rooms is very impressive . Thank you very much for care, professionalism and for inner and outer beauty, which I have experienced in your hotel.
Gratefully, Kateryna Astapenko

back from a great staycation at Skycity. I booked an executive room and was disappointed at first that the executive lounge was closed. But the facilities would be provided at the cafe on the ground floor.. When you book an executive room the you get snacks in the afternoon at the cafe downstairs with unlimited food and drinks.. so you can never be hungry. The skybistro is halal certified which is a relief as it is very rare certification in HK.. Do try the spa .. Ask for the Thai lady she is really good. Could not get her name unfortunately.. Shuttle bus available to tung chung

We chose to stay at SkyCity Marriott to celebrate with my 9-year-old son after a visit to Disney. One of the reasons we chose SkyCity as this seems to give us a more resort and "travelling" feel, while the price was decent! We booked two rooms, with $3200 F&B credits to spend in total, which we decided to spend on room service dinner and the lunch buffet on the next day. Room Service was very good, buffet was not bad too but rooms to improve for "western food" section since not much to choose from. However we were surprise to see crab legs, which were absolutely delicious.
As usual, I would email Marriott generic email address to hopefully arranging a better room or little surprise for my kid when it was a birthday occasion, however i guess I sent them the email too last minute, my request was not delivered to local Front Office team, thus there was no arrangement prior to check in. But the good thing was, FO-Kat was such a nice person who tried her best to help us out, and hopefully won't be too disappointing for my son, as she arranged a nice connecting room, and also a bag of candies for him (and also for my other kids), I would like to thank her once again for her kindness and consideration. And hopefully the communication in between Global and local CS team could be enhanced in the future.
Overall it was a very nice stay, rooms were large and clean, beds were very comfortable, more importantly, Kat's service was amazing! (in fact, i'm not sure if i got her name right lol, hope i did)

First class service from welcoming email 2 days before the arrival, to the courtesy Limo pick up at the HK airport, to the professional front desk agent greeting us by name as we got off the limo, and bringing us to our room to do personalized check-in at our room (which is upgraded to a nice suite due to our Titanium status).
The facility is clean, furniture and bathrooms are well maintained.
A couple of suggestions for improvement for the food and service at the evening cocktail hours at the executive lounge.
1. The quality of the hot food is "only average at best". The food seems to have been sitting there for awhile, they look rather dehydrated.
2. Service people at the food counter could add eye-contact with a smile. They looked more like security guards rather than happy chefs or servers of the food.
I have stayed here many times, I haven't been greeted by them or offered their assistance in any shape or form.
Other than that SkyCity would receive 5 stars from me, a Titanium Bonvoy member.

I don't remember seeing a direct to Disneyland Hong Kong? I only saw 2 bus stops of which 1 was - the airport and 2 - Tung Chung.
Better to speak to them to ask.
Yes, there is. I'm not sure how late it runs, but you can contact the hotel directly ...
The hotel also has a presence at the Marriott desk on the arrivals floor, they may be able to help there, too.
