Very nice hotel, very clean lobby area, staff were friendly, lifts good, rooms were spacious and modern, could be slightly more clean in the rooms. The beds were clean and the bathroom was clean but there were stains on the chair and the curtains. There was a 180 degree view from the windows which was nice. Good location, 5 min...

this is at a good location for one to experience hong kong culture. walking distance if you wants a "in town checkin". the mattress is hard type, which is considered to be healthy for spine. it is definitely not for everyone's liking.

There is no way to emphasize exactly how hard the beds in this hotel are. If you're on a G Adventure and you've just got off that 19.5 hour hard sleeper train, you will long for the comfort of the hard sleeper beds. The hotel provides extra blankets and pillows. There are not enough of them to make the beds...

You have a small refrigerator which is very handy. Free wifi in the room. The subway is very near, but Subway Jordan is more handy. It is a 10min...

The best thing about this hotel is its location. There are 2 MTR stations nearby, the nearest is Austin (purple/West Rail line, 5min walk) and the farther one is Jordan (red/Tsuen Wan line, 10min walk). The famous Temple Street / Night Market is just 2 streets away (5min walk) making it a very convenient stopover to grab some food and...

The location was OK in the heart of Kowloon but the bed was the hardest thing I have ever tried to sleep on. The floor would have been softer if the carpet had been cleaner. The elevator worked and the wifi was good so there were some good points.

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
