One of the many hotels/guest houses in the Chungking mansion building. Accessibility is certainly good, on the main road, in a perennial crowded area. Subway station is right next to the building and ferry service is also a short walk away. The mansion corridor atmosphere looked a little shady but minding your own business and avoid talking to people will...

This guest house was great for 3 of us in a room. Clean & comfortable with small bathroom. My friend's room was not so good because she said every morning, the smell of cooking kept on went into her room and can't sleep & rest in the early morning. The whole room smell like oily. Friendly maid & Mrs.Lau. They...

Let me say first if your vacation is on the cheap and you want to stay in a prime location in Kowloon this will probably be your best choice. The hostel on the 15 floor is modern, clean, but tiny-hey it's Hong Kong. I would say the room I stayed in was about 8x10 and that included the bathroom. What...

In all fairness I had not really meant to book this place. I thought I had booked into the Park Hotel. The room was clean and the owner lady was very kind and understanding. But we took one look around us and fled to a lovely hotel nearby (The Kowloon)

The guesthouse is probably the best in the building. Located on the top floor, it was easy to get the lift down. However, the lift was the real main problem with the place as it was small and stopped at almost every floor even though it was already full. The ground floor is full of people touting. If you can...

Very very tiny rooms, located in Chungking mansions. The location is perfect- right near subway station, ferry rides and other attractions like museum etc. But chungking mansion corridor is quite shady and there is a waiting time for the elevators during peak hours. The room is extremely tiny, you have to keep the luggage under the bed and taking stuff...
