Rather lovely guest house in the middle of Hong Kong, which is easy to get to from the airport and within distance of several stations and the harbour. Nathan road is tout heaven, but Chungking Mansions isn't menacing at all. Simon (the owner) is lovely and will look after your every need. All in all, it was a wonderful trip...

If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Hong Kong that's clean, cheap and perfectly situated, then look no further! Simon (the guest house owner) is a friendly and helpful guy who runs a great little place. Our room was scrupulously clean, comfortable and had free wi-fi, which was all we really wanted, and as it's right on Nathan Road,...

Room was extremely quiet in a very busy building. Simon was very helpful and kept our room very clean. If you don't mind taking stairs, I would definitely recommend this accommodation. The elevator is very small and often fills up, so you have to wait awhile for it. Also, It was a little strange not to have a window, but...

This guest house is wonderful! After reading some reviews about Chungking Mansion I was slightly worried but I needn't had been. Guangdong Guest House is extremely clean, safe and welcoming and it's all down to Simon. I would definitely stay again!

Though the way to the Guangdong Guest House is a little strange at night, the hostel is a perfect choice when you are looking for a room that is very clean and tidy with airco, good WIFi connection, television with DVD and a Western toilet in the heart of Kowloon and don' t want to spend too much money. Simon...

We went to Guangdong Guest House with friends on january because our student hostel was not opened when we arrived in HK. The Chungking Mansions are quite crowded, and you might sometimes wait a bit before you can get into an elevator. Also, take care about your belongings, as the place is well-known for it's scammers and pakistanese men who...

We stayed here for five nights to celebrate the Chinese New Year! The location was perfectly situation on Nathan Road, which had easy access to the train, ferries, shopping, and markets with the watch/purse haglers out front and the slow elevators being the only downside. Simon is very welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. The rooms aren't big by any means which...

We stayed in a double and it was so clean. The place was small, but comfortable. Simon made sure we knew where everything was located and was so attentive. He even let us store our bags for an extra half day! The location was great because we were right by the metro stations and the ferry building. The only downside...

“you can share double rooms when you're under 200 pounds but if not, a double room should be okay for just one person. we took a quad room but there were only three of us so it was not so bad. four people in a quad room moving at the same time would be quite difficult but remember that in hongkong, space is a premium.”
