We booked 3 beds room for 5 days, but when we arrived the hostel, the owner told us that 1 day (which is the second day) we must stay in a 4 beds room because there are no more room available and want us to pay extra HK$180 for a bigger room (actually the room size is the same as...

The main advantage of King Wah hostel is it's location - less than five minutes walk to MongKok MTR station, with a night bus running back from Lan Kwai Fong to the intersection of Argyle St and Nathan Road. We stayed in a double room with private bathroom. The room was tiny, with the double bed taking up almost all...

The booking process was efficient; I booked the room via E-mail. We actually stayed in the City Plus hostel on 14/F which it turned out is run by the King Wah Hostel owner's friendly and efficient daughter Elies. In hostels of this type I expected to pay the whole amount up-front on arrival and did thus. I stayed here for...

This is a no-frills hostel where all you get is a bed, air conditioning and a fridge that doesn't work. The beds themselves were dirty. The operators overcharged us and even had the audacity to deny that they did. The only plus is the location of the place and even then, there are hostels in the same building (Sincere House)...

The hostel is located at Mongkok. At first, i had trouble finding the building (Sincere House) but its really close to the Ladies Street, Sai Yeung Choi Street and Fa Yuen Street. The room had AC and i stayed in a double bed with attached bathroom with water heater. Although the room was small, but its good enough and it...

Vacationed with family of 7 with 2 children for 3 nights. Booked two rooms & they split us up to 10th and 14th floor. Had to wait for the lifts. Rooms are clean, small, just enough for you to put your luggage. Had TV, internet & hot water. Owner demanded the 3 nights full payment on the 1st night and...

I had great time staying in this hostel. The staff is very hepful, rooms are clean, trashbin is cleaned every day. The room rates are really low and what I liked the best is the location - right in the centre of Mong Kok. I am sure I will go back there!

I stayed here for one night on a recent trip to Hong Kong. This is a nice, small hostel located in the Sincere House in Mong Kok. The hostel is on the 10th floor and is clean and well maintained. I had a double bed with common washroom. The room was small but clean and had AC without window. I...
