We got the metro from the airport, changed lines to Dongsi station and exited through exit C. Outside, turn left and walk towards the big junction, turn left there and walk down the road, the hutong is on the left after 2-3minutes walk. The reception and other staff were lovely and booked our train tickets for Shanghai. The courtyard layout...

This was our second visit to SiHe. The rooms were clean and comfortable, staff helpful and we loved being in a small, courtyard hotel rather than a huge multistorey. The breakfast room is rather small, but the breakfast was excellent with western and Chinese food available. The location was good, surrounded by the old Hutongs and within walking distance of...

I saw this hotel in Time Out Beijing and thought it looked like a great central place to stay. These traditional hutong residences are getting few and far bewteen as they all get leveled for modern developments... So stay in one while you can! Quite basic but very friendly, and a far better experience than any multi-chain Hyatt or Mariott...

This hotel offered a really traditional experience, not at all contrived. The Hutong location was near everything, just what we were looking for, but likewise difficult to find. Even my cousin, a Beijinger, couldn't find which Hutong to turn down. Originally, we got off to a bad start because my orbitz reservation included a free airport pickup. Once I emailed...

All in all a great experience with this place. Good central location, attractive rooms, attentive staff. Staying here gave a much better experience than staying in yet another modern hotel chain. Breakfast offers both Chinese and Western style and although limited in choice there is more than enough to fuel you for wandering the vast tourist sites of Beijing on...

Ultra-helpful, English-speaking staff, lovely room, good breakfast. Very convenient for central Beijing. A world away from the bland international hotel chain experience.

We enjoyed our stay at this little hotel located on a quiet hutong. Nice helpful staff. Good complimentary breakfast. Ten minute walk to the subway, and maybe twenty minutes to the night food market. The weather was quite cold (daytime highs of 0 deg C) but the room was well heated, with plenty of hot water.

A good place to stay with freinds or family with young children or teenagers, good services with speaking front officers, good foods for breakfasts both in Chinese and Western, clean and large rooms, beautiful courtyard, but not known much for taxis near subway stations and easy going to tourist areas, be prepared for your map to find the hotel in...

Compared to hotel chains Sihe has its own personality: beautiful courtyard, nice rooms equipped with the finest furniture. You can spend your time reading in the very peculiar garden, finding peace and armony. If you are willing to pay for this... Probably suitable for families with children who needs rest and space. We spent our days walking a lot so...
