Like some other of the reviewers we found this hotel to be quite out of the way, in a rather tired and dusty part of the city. It was also a very long walk to the nearest subway station and hard to locate, as the staff at reception seemed a little vague about providing explicit directions. We also found the...

This hotel was the first stay on our Wendy Wu tour. Our room was a little tired but acceptable, the bed was hard but after we told our tour guide she arranged for a duvet to be laid on the bed for us to lay on,it did improve it somewhat, and we managed a good nights sleep, the bed linen by the way was...

As Beijing was our first stop in China, we did not have a lot to compare this with. I had been warned that the star rating in China was not comparable with ours in Europe and this proved true throughout the trip. The hotel promises more than it gives. The rooms are reasonably, the beds very hard, the towels in...

stayed here for meetings in the hotel, so location not a major issue. hotel not a bad place to stay, if don't need to be going to many other places. rooms a bit tired but generally clean and comfortable. the bed was very hard. Food wasn't wonderful. there are some local restaurants nearby. not too far from temple of heaven....

The hotel has certainly known better days - the rooms are rather shabby in condition and decoration but are nevertheless large and fit for purpose. The beds are hard as other commentators have mentioned but this seems pretty typical for China and you do get used to them. The breakfast was very good - a good variety and the bacon...

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during my trip to China. Its far from the city center and hence getting in and out of the city during peak traffic hours can be a nuisance. The hotel itself is pretty decent, I stayed all alone and found the rooms to be big enough for a couple to stay. The rooms...

Stayed here as part of a Wendy Wu tour. The reason this hotel is used is due to it's close proximity to Freeway entrance to get to The Great Wall. I understand the beds in China are known to be uncomfortable, but these beds were rock hard and took a couple of nights to get used to. The pillows were...

Grand on outside and lobby but rooms smallish. In a community area, not city. Good to mix with locals. On a tour so this is where we were taken. Beds hard, which is usual in china. Breakfast ok but hard to move around when lots of people there. They need new toasters as it took ages.

Having read previous reviews I was expecting a 'basic' hotel - far from the truth. The rooms were spacious albeit a little tired in appearance, very much along the American style of hotel rooms. The facilities in the room were very good though it was a little dark even with all the lights on. The bed was firm (read that...

Typical large three star business hotel. Spacious, airy lobby and good sized rooms. Clean accommodation with good sized beds and crisp white sheets. Half decent bedroom furniture. Very hot even in late september. Breakfast pretty dire and really lets this hotel down. the fresh omelette is the best bet.Packed breakfast we got on the last morning was much better! Reception...
